Made me happy to see the Christmas colors on the old site, just one more time, and then the new site migrate to the old URL. That made me so happy. I type in rpol.net without thinking and was really worried I'd...well jase is quite keen. I needn't have worried.

I like, most of all, sorting by group. I fully (okay! not fully) make use of the multitude of groups. So sorting them makes my difficulty with the UI more than bearable. I'm the kind that needed to be forced out of bed as a youth. Even now, I have to be forced by hunger to eat or pain to sleep. So not having a choice made the transition easier. I also did play with the test site phase throughout the year.

If you are GM on a game, you can go:

  GM Menu -> Edit Character Portraits -> Change Portrait -> upload portraits

From there, you can upload up to 20 portraits, so you are no longer limited to scrolling through the existing portraits and making do with something from there, or waiting for a new portrait to be made available.

Just noticed something on the new UI. If you submit for a game but are left waiting, you still get red flags on the game indicating new posts, even if they are from threads you cannot access until you are accepted into the game. That was normal before the switch. However, before you could click Mark all Messages as Read and it would clear the Red Flag (even if the threads were not accessable to you). Now when I click Mark all Messages as Read, it has no effect.
