How can you ask such a question?!? You figured out that, when you want to save something or somebody too much, you also risk to destroy them accidentally.

Lots of people would focus on the outcomes, rather than on the motivations, but I do think that motivations are important as well.

Motivated evil geniuss often plan destruction on purpose.

Nevertheless, I am convinced that they can have the opposite happening, although not on purpose, just like the people accidentally destroying what they want to save.

Perhaps you have to consider always that your actions may deliver the opposite of what you aim for.
