Someone asks a question and then you answer it with another question.  If it's not interrogative then you did it wrong.

Example:

A) Do you like vanilla ice cream?
B) Who are you asking?
C) Wasn't it you that was asked?
... etc.

Try not to repeat questions already asked.

Is fire ever green?
