Re: Act 5.4.1 - A Hotel Floor Where Something is Happening
Location: Turbolifts
Irrespective of Arin's attitude toward a fellow Talon who obviously trusts him enough to have handed him a hold-out blaster, the Duros heads off through the crowd. Moving along the corridors isn't difficult, it's just slow; the press of people is considerable and getting greater by the minute. It's pretty clear that if things don't settle down soon the whole floor will be in full swing. Already the sound of a live band jamming in the floor's main function room can be heard through the halls, boosted by a series of entertainment droids acting as satellite speakers.
While the party is certainly noisy it's unlikely, the Talons come to realise, that the gathering is so loud that the floors above and below have complained. A disgruntled tenant who just happened by, maybe? Or was that the concierge's way of getting the Talons to deal with the problem before it gets too big?
Mika, left by the turbolift to leave or stay as she sees fit, watches as the crowd rapidly swallows the Talons.
Location: East Hallway
Two Nautolans - one male, one female - and an Omwati male race around a corner in a less crowded section of the hallways and almost collide with Flash. Not one of them is clothed and the trio of streakers are all yelling 'WOOOOO!' at the tops of their lungs. Alcohol-fuelled mirth, most likely. There's not too much in the floor that's not alcohol-fuelled, it seems. They don't even pause to apologise for the near-collision and instead race on, whooping, into one of the spare rooms, scattering a small group of party-goers.
After pushing and weaving through the partiers for a minute or so the Talons find themselves in the stretch of corridor outside their own rooms, the doors of which are still soundly locked.
Small groups of people hang about talking, drinking, laughing. Everyone seems to be having a good time. A few of them watch the Talons with vague, passing interest as they approach.
