Re: OOC (Out of Character) Board
Alright!  Our gaming group is set.  I had a very difficult time selecting the few that were admitted based on an overwhelming response of what I found to be excellent prospective players.  I had originally wanted to limit the group to 4 or 5 then expanded that to 5 or 6, but in the end I ended up with 7 that I couldn't pass up.  The long and the short of it is that we'll likely be in a couple smaller groups for awhile.  I've participated in large groups both as a player and DM and it just seems like the more people you have the more likely the game is to fail.

Feel free to introduce yourselves as you continue working up your characters.  I think I've told everyone, but if not, it is VERY important to me that each of you really like the character you come up with.  So take your time.  If you're struggling with something or have an idea about something unique run it by me.  I don't want those things to get carried away, but we talk about it at least and see what we can do.

Welcome aboard everyone!

Hello all. Glad to be gaming with you.

Question: Can the DM give us an idea of where Rosewood is in Faerun? Just trying to figure this out so I can work up a background.

Re: OOC (Out of Character) Board
If you have a Forgotten Realms map, the Sunrise Mountains are west of Cormyr and east of Baldur's gate.  You won't find Rosewood on a map but that gives you the general location, at the base of the Sunrise Mountains.

Re: OOC (Out of Character) Board
I too wanted to extend a hello to all.  My name is Bill and I live in Michigan.  I've been gaming for... way too many years.  Can we say DnD 1st edition (not AD&D mind you).  I look forward to a great game.

Re: OOC (Out of Character) Board
Greetings everyone from damp and foggy New Jersey.  I'm Dave, and I'll be playing a wizard.  (Or magic-user as they used to call 'em in the old blue book, just to give you an idea of how long I've been around as well.)

Looking forward to gaming with you all.
