Destiny: Empty Bunk

A bed lies against one wall covered in nice sheets.  There are a few chairs and a table agains the wall by the door into the bunk and another smaller door against the right hand wall leading to a small private toliet and sink. He always keeps some moonshine in stock from the last planet Destiny visited.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

Ren slides open the door tohis bunk slips and closes the door. He survey's the room for a moments Hrmmm... belarius engine grease i think... that should hit the spot. Ren then saunters over to the cabinet under his bed and shuffles thorugh a bevy of labled mason jars Thats the one he says picking out a particulary nasty looking brown liquid filled jar. He opens it, takes a sniff, and suffers a full body shiver from the ensuing... zest. Closes the jar and heads out of his bunk.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

Having precured the meds from Londinium all onboard Destiny have been vaccinated.  The recovering crew took refuge on the Gypsy planet Paquin where they buried the two children, Sephone and Tate, who were lost on their last mission.  Now that everyone is back on their feet Destiny is looking for work once more, while trying to avoid a very angry Cortez, Alliance patrols, and Bosik's men.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

Ren had been recuperating in his bunk so she wasn't surprised to fin him asleep.  She took off her clothing down to her unders, and stole a shirt of his from the dresser.  She snuck into the bed next to him careful to not wake him. I missed him so much, but this is dumb we are going to get caught   She slides into the blnkets and presses next to his body.  She kisses him gently then falls asleep.

Ren rolled over and smiled as he noticed the beautiful red-head lying beside him.  He must have been completely out not to notice her coming in - but he was glad, it was a pleasant surprise.  He reached out an arm and gently slid his hand down her shoulder, kissing her on the neck.

"Well, this is a pleasant surprise." he whispered in her ear, "Morning Doc."

Acacia wakes up, well sort of wakes up.  She contedly sighs after she remembers where she is.  She smiles, once she feels the light tough on her arms.  She flips over Hi Ren, how ya feelin'?  I enjoyed my rest last night.   She softly said as she slid her arms around his neck.  We son't have to get up do we?   She felt rhw alight pain in her head remindering her of the night before.

"I'm feelin' much better now that you're here." he said with a smile and kissed her lightly on the nose.  Then noticed her squint her eyes slightly and looked at her with concern, "Are you feeling alright, dear?"

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

Ren laughed lightly at the thought of Acacia out on the town having a drink with the fella's.  Then she kissed him and that's all he could think about.  His mind became one-track and the only thing playing was Acacia.  Acacia, Acacia, Acacia.  She pulled away, and he furrowed his brow, "Hmm, I don't know - I think you still might be sick, I think you're going to have to prove it again."

She kissed him again, and then he heard the captain's voice come over the comm and pulled away. "Gou shi!" he said, sitting up. "You aren't supposed to be in here, you're bunks all the way downstairs." he hopped up and started pulling his pants on. "Okay, we just need an explination.  Why would you be in my bunk in the morning ... why would you be ..." he trailed off as he thought.

Acacia laughed, You freak out so easily.  I have a comm, you haven't been well you called me up. come on now sweetie don't make me think of everything.  ONly problem is, I don't want to show up wearing the same clothes.  Have I left anything here after I.....uh made a house call for you?   She sat up and scooted till her back was on the headboar of the bed.  Still covered by the blanket.  She had freaked for a second, but she wasn't going to let it show to Ren.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

Ren paused in his frantic rush and turned to the woman seated on the bed with a smile.  "Ah, see, that's why I love you.  Beauty and brains." Acacia was obviously a far quicker thinker then him - he admired everything about the woman.

He opened up a drawer where he had carefully folded and put away some of Acacia's clothing and pulled it out, tossing it to her.  "You are in luck my dear."  He pulled a shirt over his head and sat down beside her, picking up her tiny tank top.  "Now is this a glove, because I think the only thing it would cover is my hand." he wrapped it around his fingers, "Nope, too small to be a glove." he said laughing.

"See, now I wouldn't have a problem with that." Ren said with a grin before digging around to find a pair of pants for the lady.  He found some, and watched as Acacia put them on.  "I'm still a fan of the no pants thing. " then he turned to head out of his bunk, "Come on, dont' want to keep everyone waiting."

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

After getting their ship back the crew of Destiny began to pick up the pieces that Kyron had shattered.  Against most of the crews wishes Kyron was kept alive - although no official plans had yet been made for what to do with him when it became apparent that Wei-Li was falling into critical condition. Destiny needed medical help and fast.  They made way for the nearest planet at the time - Orisis.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

After the fire fight at the Grand Yacht Party Kale worked out an arrangement with the Caddigan's.  Conveniently, the crews good friend Kyron Bates footed the bill with his bank card that he accidently dropped during his hijack attempt and which Wei-Li luckily found.  So finally the crew returned home ... back to Destiny.  Although slightly worse for wear.

They had been out in the black for a few days when Kale recieved a wave from his good friend and old professor, Walton Squires.  It was a pleasant surprise to recieve an invitation to his home on Regina and also to hear that he had a job for them ...

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

After successfully delivering the stamp to the Professor and despite the loss of their first mate, the crew of Destiny headed back into the black.  Back to work.  A few jobs later has left them with a crate from Xiaygin to be delivered to Torrance Station.  They've just docked at the space station located on the rim.

Its now been almost a month since the museum job and Rhaef leaving - the wounds are healing but they haven't been forgotten yet.

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

After their daring escape from Torrance Station the crew of Destiny was left broken and beaten ... and one crew member short.  The mourning had just begun for the crew but they had to press on.  They dropped the young boy which Kale, Geoff, and Wei-Li had saved off with his father and then turned to Paquin for Ren's funeral.  It was a short trip that left all of them with heavy hearts but Ren's death had effected no one as hard as Acacia.  So two weeks later found the crew of Destiny on Osiris saying goodbye to their doctor.

And although he was millions of miles away, as Destiny and her crew suffered ... so did Rhaef ...

Re: Destiny- Ren's Bunk

The crew of Destiny has finally managed to get itself back on its feet.  After a trying past few months things are starting to go back to normal.  The absence of Ren and Acacia is still felt but the ships newest members have begun to find a home on board the old freighter.  Most relationships have been mended and although there are still some unanswered questions between members of the crew life has been peaceful.

However, after a few months of excitement and trials the crew has discovered that the cash flow has come to a sputtering halt.  The crew needs a job and soon.  First rule of the black is to keep flying.  Fortunately, one of Kale's contacts managed to put him in touch with the infamous Sin Twins.  The girls are probably the most ... unpredictable of contacts, one can never be quite certain what they're getting into when dealing with them.  But one thing is for certain, the pay-out is always good.  The crew has set up a meeting with the twins in a casino on Santo to get more details about the possible job.

Re: Destiny- Dake's Bunk

(From - Destiny: Cargo Hold)

Dake threw the wet towel on his desk and reached into his chest of clothes.  When he was a driver on Santos, he had plenty of fancy clothes that he had worn while working.  Now, however, most of his clothes were rather ordinary.  Flying Destiny did not give him many opportunities for dressing up.  He spent most of the time onboard, not dirtside hob-nobbing.

Throwing clothes around, Dake found the cleanest, and nicest, clothes he had.  A button down white shirt and a pair of dark brown cargo pants.  His boots would have to suffice for shoes.  He had never been one for fancy shoes.

Stripping off his shirt, he grabbed the towel and began to wipe himself down.  A proper shower would have been nice, but the audience in the cargo hold put him off the idea.  Geoff was down there.  Dake was sure any reason to not be in the hold at that moment was a good one.  So he settled for wiping the grime and sweat of with the towel.  He used a clean towel that he kept in the bunk to dry off.  This was followed by dressing in the clothes that he kept getting the nagging feeling would not stand up to anything that Wei-Li could wear.

Once he was dressed, Dake sat down on his bed, running a hand through his hair.  For some reason, he was getting nervous.  He had dated attractive women before.  Plenty in fact.  It was the pitfalls of being a racer.  But this was different for some reason.  He was fighting an internal struggle as to whether he was taking Wei-Li out because he was attracted to her or to aggravate Geoff further.  The pilot knew he had to figure it out soon.  Charlie had warned him.  And Dake's response had been genuine.  He did not want to hurt anyone.

Re: Destiny- Dake's Bunk

Dake released a deep sigh.  Just a couple of hours ago, he was ready to head out with Wei-Li and not think twice about it.  Suddenly, his notion of right and wrong kicked in and he wasn't sure if he was doing it for himself, Wei-Li, or to hurt Geoff.  He needed to think about it and he knew he couldn't do that in his bunk.
