Destiny: Dining Hall

This warm and cozy room has a large table in the center surrounded by ten mis-matched chairs.  On the center of the table is a grouping of three candles.  Against the forward walls are a series of cabinets and counter space.  A sink is located on the left.  Against the back walls is a built in couch, comfy pillows are tossed on it in now particular order.

Re: Destiny- Dining Hall

Kale sat in one of the mis-matched chairs circling the large table in the center of the dining hall.  The protien pack sitting on the smooth surface is barely touched.  He's sick of eating the bland meal, 'course there ain't anything he can do about improving the food situation, not 'til he could find his crew a decent job.  They could certainly use the money right about now.

Kale's father had always said: A man on an empty stomach is as good as worthless.  'Course his father also said if you got one finger pluggin' a granade and another plugged in a woman, you drop the grenade 'cause a fine woman is worth it.  . . . He didn't always have the most sound advice.  Kale grinned at the memory of it, and picked up the protien pack once more.

Ren meanders in from the bridge, and quickly surveys the cozy room. Sein' the captain he walks over to one of the couches and slumps down. "Hey 'cap, whats the deal?"

Kyoko walks in, moving gracefully as usual. She nods to Reiner as she looks to the Captain. The calm at ease look on her face seems almost serene as she moves to the counter and pulls out a kettle to make some tea.

"Captain, I wonder if you would tell me again why you refuse to discuss how long we will be planet side. I have to entertain clients to pay my rent." While it was technically true, her trust and the guild stipend would most assuredly keep that from happening. Still the captain didn't need to know it.

Startled by the consorts forewardness Ren sits straight up O, zhe zhen shi ge kuai le de jin zhan he said sarcastically, and then looks to the cap' to see his response.

"No deal yet, just some waitin' around.  S'posed to meet that ke wu de lao bao jun, Cortez at night fall.  Not lookin' forward to talking to him, but we need a decent job and Cortez always has an in." Kale runs a hand through his dark hair, and looks over at Ren

"We also got a passenger s'posed to be dropping by anytime now.  Not too sure about him, but he offered enough money for passage to some planet out on the border that I wasn't about to turn him down." He grinned at the other man.  "Money talks."

Re: Destiny- Dining Hall

"I suppose then, denying me my clients will be enough to ask for you to give me a reduction in my rent?" Kyoko asks primly. "Or perhaps I could ask for some salaried compensation for the watches I stand, the aid I give the doctor and engineer in their duties underway? Kyoko says reminding him that she does pull her weight underway.
