Friends of RPoL  now  exists !!! Click HERE  to  visit the web site.  There you  can see who we are,  what our aims are  and  how  we  intend to  go about things.

At the  moment you can only  donate to RPoL using Paypal -  there are  directions on the site for  doing that, but we expect to be able to take cheques written in US$ or UK£ soon.

Send your Paypal donation to frpol@shannararose.com, and please include your RPoL  user ID in the message area, or else  we  will not  be able to  relate the donation to a name.  We will only publish RPoL IDs  when  we publish information.  Email addresses, real names  etc  will not  be used.

While  we  check to  make sure that everything is  working, please  could  you send us an RTJ here when you do make a donation.  Then  we  can track  what is  happening through Paypal better.

Current  estimates are that it  costs  about Aus$ 2500-3000 per year  for the bandwidth needed to run RPoL, so that’s the sort of  money  we  need to raise, ATM. That’s  roughly US$1500 or UK£1000 per year that  woof is forking out  so that we can play …..

And, no, you don't need a character for this board, as it is not a game.

For other boards on the site, which are games, then you will need characters (at least one for each game that you join).  The owner of each of those will tell you how to create a character for their game.

Hi Kelsey. We have a discussion forum called Community Chat that would be a better place to find people to chat with. On the main menu under the heading 'game types on offer' you will find 'Discussion'. Click on that and you will find 'Community Chat'. I hope you have fun here.

oh sorry, i did request acces, but i thought this was a rolplaying game, sorry im not here to make donations.i would like to, but i dont think my money( im not an adult yet so i dont work)isn't enough for a donation, i know i dont have to pay a lot, i could pay as much as i wanted, but im not sure thats how i would want to spend the little amount of money i have.im not saying i dont want donations made, i think its a REALLY good idea, but im not going to make a donation sorry.

It's okay, ariel_94, most people who use the site don't make any donation either.  Many of them are in the same situation as you - no money to spare - this is no problem (well, having no money IS a problem, but not being able to make a donation isn't a problem  :p ).

You are still welcome to join the games, or even make your own, and enjoy the site.  :)

All we ask is that you show a little respect for the other users, the moderators, and the site admin.  :)
