I can't invite players to my game with out haveing a thread and I don't know what to do

Well you don't post in the financial section of RPOL.

Start by at least creating an OOC thread, or better yet, content.  Little reason to have everyone sitting around when you've got nothing built yet.

How do you make a dead thread live again?

If you mean a thread which has been locked, open the thread and you should see an Edit Thread link on the right hand side of the header bar.  Select the link, then uncheck the Close Thread box and hit the "Update Thread" button.
