Be it known that on this date, Lord Kieth, Margrave Thornwood, Knight of the Garnet Rose with Dewdrop, Victor at the Battles of Soutfork Ford, One-Tree-Hill, Second Battle of Oytwood, and Eastmanswatch, known to the commons as 'Silverhand,' did fall while in service to his king.
In this war against the scourge of giants, many have fallen, but few have done as much in so little time as Lord Kieth.
To honor his memory, the King commands a new Ranger Company be created and their appellation shall be 'The Silverhands.'

Synopsis:
Kieth had gone to his homeland when he found out that the Giants' invasion of Geoff had been successful. He lost a hand and gained it back through magic, hence 'Silverhand' when he was captured the first time by Cloud Giants.
Seeking revenge and to disrupt Giant logistics, he made a second solo assault on the cloud giant castle and (mostly ) succeeded in removing the Cloud Giants on that cloud castle from being effective. He had been infiltrating the Crystalmist Mountains when he came upon a major Giant stronghold and set about reducing it as well. Things went well until he ran afoul a Frost Giant mage.
Captured again, he had been transported to a Frost Giant stronghold. He was in the process of escaping when his remarkable, extraordinary luck ran out. Of course, he took 4 of the bastards with him....
Geoff remains under Giant occupation in Kieth's timeline.
