I go by Sageis. I have been running and playing D&D and other RPG's since I was a preteen, so I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 23 years experience as both a player and a GM/DM/ST. I stumbled upon this site quite by accident and figured that signing up for a membership would not be the worst of ideas. With that, I am off to lurk. If anyone wants to know anything about me please feel free to ask. I am not shy and am generally willing to answer any question about myself with a few reasonable exceptions.

In reply to Sageis (msg # 1):

Welcome!  You will find a very useful set of tools for organizing and running a game if you ever decide to create one, but there's no rush.  Look around.  Find a game or three you want to play, and get started.  Some places here you may want to visit are:

Community Chat is a great place to hang out and get to know folks.

Wanted - Players is where GMs advertise their games seeking players.

Wanted - GMs is where players propose a game concept and advertise for a GM to run it.

Game Proposals, Input, and Advice is where folks seek feedback on games or game-related situations/problems, pitch proposals for a game they might want to run to gauge interest, and get advice.
