I tried to apply to an (apparently) adult game today and was informed I have to go through a verification process. Sounds good. I have no problem with that. I filled out the form, and went back to look over the rules to see what I'd missed... and I cannot, for the life of me, find anything detailing the age verification process. Am I blind? Am I looking in the wrong place?

Even now, after filling out the form, I still get this message:

Any insight into where I can find details about this process (including timetables, if possible) would be appreciated. TIA.

There is really nothing more to the process than you have already seen - you try to access an Adult game, get asked for your birth details, and that's it.  The first time there is a short wait, after that it's all handled automatically.

Timetable wise - the verification process requires a Mod to manually confirm it the first time, so it takes as long as it takes for a Mod to spot that it's waiting and click the button (bearing in mind that we are all volunteers who do this in our spare time and are not permanently on-site) - so usually a couple of hours, or less.

Thanks, BBR. Question: would it be possible to put something to that effect in the FAQ? Like I said, I looked for something about it, but I didn't really find anything that mentioned the process more than obliquely. It might keep others from asking this question in the future.
