Ouf! Take winced as the mace hit him. Foregoing his spear he instead retaliated with a quick kick-punch combo. The kick was poorly executed and he nearly fell over, which perhaps made his punch harder to avoid. The massive fist hit like a brick.

There really wasn't much he could do as the creature had a reach weapon and any 5 foot steps wouldn't pay off till two rounds later.  With him near dropping, the only thing he could really do at this point was try to deal as much damage as possible.  But the Goliath had the advantage at the moment.  Swinging the mace again, his attack went wide.  He was pretty sure this was the last of the battle for him.

Thanks, I will stick with what I have at this point for the characters actions.  We will see what happens.  This character really isn't much in human form.  His strength is the wolf form, and he has a few handicaps on him as he can't use Hybrid form, and his role playing guidelines.  Arena lets me loosen up a little bit.  As the battle experience is what I'm really after.  So far I have learned is that with take, stale mate is the battle outcome when he is at his best abilities.

Take sidesteps the mace and once more relies on the quickness of his feet and hands as he forces the elf to drop his guard to avoid a sweeping kick before spinning half around and shoving a rock-hard elbow up Thar'Lylas face.

Good fight! I didn't have many hitpoints left: one more hit and I would have been gone as well. Your wolf form is extremly resilient (unless your enemy has and applies silver sheen) but as seen you need to take care when fighting larger opponents: grapplers will always be a pain unless you have freedom of movement or can teleport away.

It is a surprise tactic.  And now that every one is aware of my abilities.  Every one will always be equipped with the substance.  Basicly I only had one shot at this.

I am not surprised by the outcome of this engagement.  I have always been more of the healer for the party.  Never was to skilled in battle, and normally prefer to avoid it if I can.

I do play a Lycanthrope Monk.  Very effective, especial in hybrid form.
