The adventure will start in Plugfest, but your character may not even begin there! So, decide your approximaty to Plugfest and work from there. This might conflict with your chosen story, so, again, talk to me about it. remember, the cities described in the World Information Thread are just the major cities, from small city size to metropolis. There are also plenty of villages. So, choose you approximaty to Plugfest, all locations are within the country of Tormentire: - Citizen You know what is happening in Plugfest. You are an inhabitant! This means that you know who all the key figures are, what your promotional options are, the layout of the city and some information on the new war that will be waged shortly. And some other things, which I won't mention here. - Close You live in a town nearby. This is why you know the key figures in the city of Plugfest, you know that a war is coming but do not know why. You've heard news from travellers. There may be more, but that, we'll discuss with each other personally. - County You live in the same district. But alas, news travels a bit slowly in Tormentire (this will be discussed later on, in a general introduction you'll all receive). You know the city of Plugfest by name, you might have been there once. You know the name of the ruling high noble, but that is about it. Except for the coming war of course! - Duchy You live outside of the borders of the county where Plugfest lays. Some news is still seeping through though. You've never been there. There might be glory to be had in Plugfest. Hmmm... - Elsewhere Plugfest, in the stories that circulate so far from even the duchy of which Plugfest is a part, Plugfest seems to be a place of brutes and antic wizards. But the king has send some reinforcements that way, which means that something IS happening there. Maybe some glory can be shared with you? - Extreme: Even though you might be only miles away from Plugfest, your village, or even small city, is so secluded, no news comes to town. You start wandering the world without a clue! It might be miles before you reach any other signs of civilization. You are an inhabitant of the Forgotten Towns, which lay all over Tormentire. STEP 3: BASIC CHARACTER BUILDING These are the genaral rules: - 36 Point buy (be realistic :D) Alternatively, you may role on the diceroller here. But remember: if you decide to do that, tehre is no turning back! Roll 4d6, drop lowest die 7 times, choose your 6 favorite scores. No score allowd above 18, scores can't be dropped below 8. Apply racial bonusses afterwards. Remember: basic Alignment for an orc or half orc is lawful neutral, halflings are basically chaotic evil, just read the Houserule Thread again. - Classes allowed All basic Classes. Psionics follow special rules. Only one psionic character allowed. Multy-classing to psionic class is impossible. Psioncs can multy-class freely. Initial psionic class need not be a psion. And I will notice if you haven't read them ;D - Gold Max at level 1 STEP 4: ADDITIONAL FEATS Choose an additional feat package: - Hardy Gain Endurance, Diehard and Toughness - Nimble Gain Dodge and Improved Initiative - Caster Gain Spell Penetration and a Spell Focus - Learned Gain Skill Focus two times and choose an additional class skill. - Energy Gain one type of energy resistance at 10.
