Emerald puts the vehicle in hover mode (No... not landing ON Ra since Emerald is more interested in people being able to board the craft) and looks over at Mika. "Mika, if you have a good set of lungs, go tell the others to get their collective butts IN here!" The side hatch opens.

Emerald keeps Lucky close to her and squeezes him.

Ra is still unconscious, but he stirs a little, his large frame making plenty of noise in the stirring.

Milloni ohs and says, "Well... it could be. I was just thinking that regardless of whether this tech is used for recon or not, we Mobians are going to need to start getting a bit more serious about wearing armor to these missions. Problem with armor normally is mobility... but if a shark suit was adjusted enough, mobility would only be a matter of what the robotics and propulsion are capable of rather than what the strength of the wearer can do." she sighs. "In all honesty, Samuel... until you came along, I didn't feel I had what it took to make such a suit."

Shelly watches Walden work for a bit and looks over at Nautilus. Using the underwater Seabear language, Shelly asks Nautilus a question which, to those who don't know the Seabear language would sound like nothing more than a mix of squeals with whale calls. Not so much used because Shelly wants to speak privately, but mostly because the common tongue can't be used underwater (Certainly not clearly).

(OOC: For this purpose, I'm using a private post to Nautilus.)

Nodding to Emerald, she leaves the young rabbit in her seat, as she runs for the door, hanging half out of it, calling to everyone, "OI!  Everyone coming to Channelwood, this is the last boat going there!  We have the missing one and another as well!".


She looks around, noticing Katy is down, "Do we have a first aid kit in here?  It looks like someone is injured." she calls back towards the cockpit.

Valin ponders the situation for a moment as he glances over the supplies and notes that there is also the materials to easily carry those supplies, and then says, "Well I guess there is only one solution to the situation. Since I need help to come with me to help in setting up traps to insure Michael and the others will be able to shake off any pursuers. But given that the supplies must not be left alone, and we don't know where they all came from, we take them with us. It may be possible that Michael may have need of them when we encounter him. And the amount of supplies here won't slow me down at all so I'll carry them for you."

Valin waits to see how Maverick and Amy reacts to his idea, before if they agree to his suggestion, he would begin to gather up the supplies into the bags they are next to so that the three can head off.

Michael shakes his head as he thinks to himself that what Katy did was very reckless, and hopes that she will be okay. Michael grins as he realizes that the hover unit that Joe had attached himself to is currently under freedom fighter control.

Upon hearing Mika speak up Michael is glad at Lucky has been rescued, and is surprised that someone else has in addition. Michael knows he is going to want to hear the full story on that as soon as possible. Michael then says, "Okay we accomplished what we came for, so let's get out of here before the situation turns on us," as Micheal tries to quickly get Katy, and himself, safely into the hover unit since it is clear she is in no condition to walk on her own.

Samuel nods slowly and stops working for as he realizes something that Milloni may not have as he explains, "Using powered suits is commonplace where I come from, especially in harsh environments like outer space. One needs protection in those conditions while at times people forced to rely on the suit for propulsion, especially in outer space. Just remember that if you run out of breathable air, or power, the suit can easily end up as a coffin. Although with the Swatbot suit, extended underwater endurance isn't necessary as it just needs to be able to get from the shore to Aquarius and back. The same cannot be said for your Shark-bot suit. It might be wise to look over some of the specs of my space suit as it's a pretty standard example of a suit that can work well for extended periods of time in an environment the wearer can't breathe in," as Samuel then resumes his work on the Swatbot suit.

Nautilus looks back at Shelly steadily, returning her speech with his own while keeping an eye on Walden's progress.


Walden looks at the two of them briefly as he hears the language being spoken. Of course, he doesn't understand it, and he isn't able to judge their facial expressions all that well in the little time that he has. At a look from Nautilus, the otter continues his cleaning task, oddly cheerful about it. Even smiling in an attempt to make the work go easier.

"That was unbelievable, wasn't it?" Mittens answers Hart with a smile before addressing Timothius' question, "Leave them behind?  We're the ones being left behind, my fine feathered friend.  But that was the plan when we left Aquarious, so what's not to like?"  ^.^

She ear-twitches at the noises coming from Ra and continues with a whisper.  ^o.o

"Sounds like Sleeping Beauty is waking back up.  Time to revert back to hand signs."  :)

With a big smile, she points at herself, hugs herself, then points at her two companions, wiggling her eyebrows.  XD

Lucky blushes deeply at being hugged by the pretty fox lady and is speechless.

Hart nods in agreement with Mittens as he speaks to Timothius, "Yeah... Our mission was to get some gear, not get involved in a rescue mission and go toe to toe with that thing... So, for once, I think we're on the right track."

He sighs and goes into a whisper as he hears the commotion and Mittens' concern, "We've got an excape route ready, right? I'd suggest we get what we came for and get out before this all turns on us..."

He looks to Mittens curiously for her call on what their next move should be.

  “Hey Mike, that thing I was told to wait telling you two about until after this was dealt with?  She’s on the bike.”  And thus Joe got rid of the need to explain things later that he had wanted to explain earlier, by making it someone else’s problem.

  While they were busy trying to escape with their lives and a stolen hovercraft.  Wonderful priorities there Joe.

  Were you expecting anything else?  It’s not like he was going anywhere.

Emerald headshakes to Mika. "It's a Robotnik vehicle, remember?" She waits for the others to board the craft. Once she is assured everyone is aboard, Emerald takes off in the direction of the woods.

Maverick nods. "You're currently in charge, Mr. Vaschel. And what you say makes sense. I'll go along with it if you think it's OK."

Amy seems satisfied. "But let's hurry. No telling how long Katy has..."

Both of them move to help and follow Valin.

Angel notices Mika and runs her bike again. "I'll follow you guys. See you at your destination!" with that, she hurries over to where she dropped Daemon off and picks him up again to curry him over towards the woods.

"Thanks for the warning." Milloni says. It seems everything is done... all that's left is assembly. Of course, there will be testing in the process, but that's to be expected. Especially from a pair of engineers who are not inventors.

Shelly ohs..

When Walden is done, Shelly smiles and claps before she stops glowing and takes him to a much more desirable area for cleaning. Then says to Nautilus,  This place being... bright enough.

Timothius leads the way, perching rooftop to rooftop and covertly showing the direction to go for escape. Soon enough, the bunch find the old Swim Store with the scuba gear. With amazingly no resistance (Or maybe not so amazing, considering the tremendous distraction elsewhere), Mittens and co are able to make off with 3 suits! ...it was all that was left in the store.

Timo having the birds-eye-view advantage is the assigned point-man for the remainder of the mission.  Namely, Mittens points at him with a big grin in response to Hart's "we have a way out, right?" question.  She strolls confidently out of town knowing that Ra's forces will be focused on the other more obvious escape, but keeps "radio silence" and keeps her eyes and ears sharp just in case.

Samuel nods as he starts to work on assembling the Swatbot suit, he takes an obvious slow and steady approach to it as he tests components as he works with them, making sure those components are functioning properly before moving on to the next part. This way Samuel knows that if something doesn't work, it has to be related to the component he's been working with and that makes the problem easier to track down and fix.

Valin nods as he gathers up the supplies in the bags and uses the straps on the bag to let the supplies hang from his right shoulder as he hurries to lead Maverick and Amy to the location that he had pointed out to Jimmy as the spot where he was going to set up the traps for the ambush site.

After making sure that Katy's in a safe location on the hovercraft, Michael turns to Joe and says, "You mean the rabbit who said her name was Angel? I suspect Katy is going to want to have a few questions for her when she wakes up." as Michael figures that both Katy and himself will have several questions for Angel once things settle down.

Michael then sighs as he knows he was so busy dealing with making sure Katy was safe that he didn't bother to reply to Angel, but the chimpanzee also knows that in a fight, there isn't much time for introductions, and Michael's priority at the time was to make sure Katy was safe, so dealing with a stranger that seemed capable of taking care of herself didn't seem very important given the situation at the time.

Michael then turns to Emerald and says, "Do not take this hovercraft anywhere near Channelwood, for all we know there are tracking devices on it so we can't risk giving away Channelwood's location. We can hide the hovercraft in the forest till we are sure that there is no way for Robotnik's forces to track it down."

  Joe shrugged, “And yet we already know more about her than we do about the other recent bunny, even if it’s just a name.”  This said as he looked over to the other result of Joe’s rescue methods.

  “Of course,  Angel’s also talked, period, so far.  And Sorry Mika, I don’t think a hovercraft meant for expendable killer robots would have much in the way of safety features like that.”

Hart is actually pretty happy about the clear trip after all of the commotion with Ra. This mission hasn't been absent of surprises, but at least this was a pleasant one. Overall, it seemed to him that Mittens did a pretty good job of keeping everyone in line and taking charge. There was a little luck on her side too, but that was a bonus. He was guessing that Shelly would be pretty happy about everything when he got back to report.

Following Mittens' lead, the deer stays silent and follows her out, keeping his ears up and alert for sounds or signs of someone following them back.

Dragon down or not, this city still has daggers lurking in the shadows.

At Shelly's insistance of her well being, Nautilus nods dutifully. Shelly always was independent. He told himself that he should have known better, though he felt better still for asking.

Upon her leaving, he gives a polite bow, turning to his current charge and watching his progress. The old seabear had no intention of staying down here all day and watching Walden clean the underbelly of their base, but he wanted to be sure it was at least starting off on the correct stream.

Walden gives a flourishing salute as Shelly prepares to leave, going back to his cleaning with positive vigor. His high energy seems to help him do a better job and clean at a nice rate, though he's less than serious about the task than Nautilus would prefer.

Mika stands to the side, inside the craft as everyone enters, giving a helping hand as appropriate.  As she's informed about the lack of first aid kits aboard such vessels she starts to wonder exactly what they'd keep on board.

With everyone securely aboard she starts wandering the cabin, looking for things to open, and maybe a few things to nick while she's here.  Since the machines caused them so much trouble, may as well go 'treasure hunting' for a few prizes to take home.
