Emerald nods to Michael. "Perish the thought, Mike." she wasn't going to, but appreciates Mike's caution and soon takes off towards the woods. "We're landing just outside the woods. Not that there are many places TO land a craft like this inside the woods, come to think of it."

Mika would find spare laser rifles and some metal cuffs that have no apparent keys (or keyholes).

The craft soon lands at the edge of the woods where Harrison and Orion are waiting for Mittens and co. Emerald says, "We can try to hide it if we can, but chances are they'll get their vehicle back..."

Not long after Emerald's landing, Timothius glides into view and lands near Michael and the others before turning to beckon to Mittens and co to come on over.

Having not been told to be allowed to speak again, Timothius remains silent.

Maverick follows Valin close by and helps every way he can. Seems this kid is as eager to help as they come, though he acts like it's serious business and not a game... unlike other kids would. And Amy helps point out good spots to set traps. But already, they can hear the sounds of Emerald and the like up ahead.

Around the same time, Angel swerves to a halt near the group of Freedom Fighters with her hover bike and Daemon in tow. "Well no worries on this bike. It's mine and mine alone... no Robotnik tech here." she says with confidence and a smile.

Inside Mittens' mind, several swats armed with rifles patrol by moonlight on the rusty platform of an oil rig located deep within an alligator infested swamp.  Besides the occasional ring of robotic feet, the sounds of buzzing insects and croaking toads are the only things that can be heard.  Then, below the rig, faces slowly emerge from under the water like bog wraiths rising from the deep.  It's Mittens and her amphibious team of ninja!  The water glides off their scuba gear noiselessly as they slowly, stealthily, rise...  and begin to infiltrate.

Mittens arrives on the scene with a huge smile on her face, relishing the success of her team!  :)

"I think it's safe for us to break the silence now, my friends," she says with a wink to her team, "Good job everyone!  So what we gunna do with this swatmobile?  I say we return it to the swats... at top speed and on fire!"  ^.^

Mika disembarks the hoverunit her backpack stuffed with her swiped goods, three laser rifle butts can be seen sticking out of her stuffed backpack.  "There was very little valuble in there. I think I have everything worth taking."  She mentions to Emerald as she follows her out.

As a large group seems to be gathering she stands back behind Emerald, trying to not attract too much attention, as she looks like she's gone on a shoplifting spree.  Mika feels a little guilty even though the ones she took these things from would rather see them dead.

"Well, if they are coming back for it, why let them have it working?" she asks.

Daemons mouth finally shuts from awe of what just happened the battle that had just had happened. He has never seen such a amazing battle between a group of   critters against Dr. Julians forces. He was so used to hacking he never imagined on how fun the outside world could really be actually see or be in such a  event. It was so unbelievable, maybe one day he would be in something like that in the midst of battle his adrenaline began hype up.

"Angel that was incredible, I never thought that I would be in a event like that I do wish I could have done more to help  though"

As they were riding along on the bike he let the wind sweep through his hair, he enjoyed the rush that he was getting from riding along with Angel. He held on tight to the bunny of fearing of falling off but at the time being he felt safe and secure with her. As they stop he survayed the rest of the group and sat in silence looking at them with a smile on his face.

"That was Way-past cool guys" giving them a thumbs up as he said this

Michael notices the laser rifle's Mika has picked up and after Angel has spoken up, Michael says, "However those laser rifles Robotnik's tech and they might have tracking devices in them that would need to be disabled before they go anywhere near home."

Michael then turns to Emerald walks over to her before saying, "Well we should try to hide it, and also boobytrap it so that when Robotnik's forces do find it, they end up with an unpleasant surprise." Michael then continues in a softer tone of voice, "Also can you take care of Katy for the time being, she's still out of it, and I think I'm going to be a bit too busy dealing with Angel and her friend to tend to Katy right now."

Michael glances back to Angel and Daemon and walks over to them as the chimpanzee asks, "Who's he anyways? I don't think we've been introduced yet," as Michael casually points to Daemon as Michael guesses that Angel knows a bit about the individual, after all she is letting him ride on her bike with her.

Valin takes note of the locations Amy picks out to set traps and knows that they are all good locations so he has the three of them work on setting up the traps as best they can.

And while Valin can hear Emerald and others up ahead, Valin doesn't hear anything that indicates they are being chased, but the gorilla doesn't know how long that will last as Valin says, "Okay we still need to hurry since we don't know how much time we'll have to finish these traps.

Valin glances to Amy and asks as he continues to work on setting up a trap, "After you finish what your currently doing, can you head on over to Emerald and the others are to let them know what is going on here. That way they can move this way to deal with any robots that might be chasing or tracking them, as well as letting us find out how their mission went."

  "Mitten's plan is a good one, I've yet to die using it.  Though I suppose if they conveniently find their ride that can answer technical questions for us without need for checking ourselves."  He doubted too much about tracking signals in most things though.  Otherwise people with Dues Ex computers could have just tracked the tracking signals (it's what they are for, after all) by now to know where things are.

  Or maybe the writers hadn't thought of that, who knows.  Though it would be a safe bet Swats did not have such considering how high up on the 'loot everything!' list their parts were.

For the moment, Hart's just happy that everything seems to have gone off without a hitch. He doesn't know who any of the new folks are, but he doesn't bother asking, thinking that it'd be a better time for introductions once they were closer to home.

"If that ship has a self distruct thing on it, then I say push it and send it Middletown's way. Even if it doesn't, it'd probably be better to scrap it in Middletown than pollute the forest even more by having it lay around. He quirks a brow as he looks at Harrison and Orion, "Hey... Speaking of big things, how were you guys over here while everything was going down?"

Nautilus watches Walden as the otter works at his task with vigor. Despite his glib attitude in cleaning, he's doing an impressive job.

However, there's still a long way to go, and the old sea bear has no intention of looking over the otter's shoulder for the entirety of it.  Giving a noticable bow of his head, Nautilus turns and makes his way for the nearest pool entrance, which seems to be the West Pool.

Mika listens to the conversations about tracking devices being in some things, but not others.  After hearing both sides she proposes, "Since these could be useful later, I will bury everything I've taken a short distance away.  If they take the ship, and not the pistolas we will know they could not find them under thier noses, and they are ours.  If they find the pistolas then we know they are not safe to take.  We could come back a week later to see if they find them or no." 
That said, she heads off a short distance and does a fairly good job of burying, and hiding all of the rifles.  With that done she does the same with the restraints, hiding them in a diffrent spot.  "There, I have nothing of theirs with me. Vamos?" she declares.

Daemon looks to Michael and gives him a slight bow, "Greetings there sir, I am daemon... well, that’s the name I go by, I'm a hacker in search for the one freedom fighter known as Katy. I've been looking for her since I got here but then I ran into Angel and well look where I am now. I just have seen an amazing battle against Dr. Julian’s forces I Was so jaw dropped that was way cool!"


Daemons adrenaline was still running wild he wanted to go do something more exciting but he wanted to catch up with the freedoms fighters’ leader and get to know her. He still thinks he may be some use to the group but he would have to wait and see what Katy had to say about all that

Emerald exits the craft, holding Lucky's hand and huhs as she hears Daemon say his peace. Daemon the Hacker? She heard of him... not that she's a member, but she knew someone who was... She nods to Michael and carefully takes Katy off his hands, though she is only able to wrap Katy's arm around her shoulder since Katy weighs more than Emerald can lift. "Oof..." she says as she hefts Katy's body. "Not gunna be easy..." Emerald turns her attention to Mika and nods, saying, "That's a good idea, Mika. Do it. But before you do..."

She then looks at Angel. "No offense, but I'd prefer you not know where Mika hides these guns, so why don't you go with the Aquarius Freedom Fighters for now." She then looks at Mittens. "If that's OK with you bunch, of course..."

Angel is momentarily distracted by Timothius. A flying cat? Could it be...? Someone from Sky Sanctuary? To Daemon's compliment to her, Angel smiles and gives Daemon a quick high-five. And when Michael and Emerald both say their piece, Angel nods understandingly. "It's a real shame that even in these days, rumors of traitors abound. But that said, I can understand your distrust."

Timothius hrms... "Well I may be able to fly, but you all can't, Mittens. I think Michael's idea is best. If we can get a vehicle out of this, why not? What's the worst damage we could do with an exploding hover-unit? Nothing... compared to what we could do with a functioning hover unit if we can be so lucky."

Harrison grins at Hart and gives him a thumbs up. "Only downside is we missed all the action."

Orion says, "In all honesty... wish I had been there. Looks like you guys coulda used a little extra help. Is Katy going to be OK?" He glances at what Angel is saying, but Angel didn't come out and say there are any traitors... and certainly didn't accuse anyone of being such. So he doesn't retort.

Timothius turns to Emerald and Michael and says, "Actually, I can come with you guys. I'm a medic, I can check on Katy and make sure she'll be OK." he says with concern and confidence at the same time, reaching out for Katy. "Depending on her condition, it might be better to stand our ground while I make a stretcher for her." he says. Should Katy be entrusted to him (Which, since he is from the AFF, the CFF have very little reason to distrust him at this point), Timothius would get to work right away.

Maverick knows the rule about going around in pairs, but figures this must be an exception since Emerald and co are not too far away at all. He silently continues helping Valin.

Amy dusts off her hands. "Sure thing, Mr Vaschel." Amy says in acknowledgment. She hurries over in the direction of where the voices were coming from, soon arriving where they are at. A quick glance tells her a lot has happened. A hover unit, an unconscious Katy, three unfamiliar faces (Angel, Daemon and the still yet to be discovered what her name is little girl bunny), a rescued Lucky, the AFF holding scuba gear, and Mika holding a bunch of laser rifles.

Amy blinkblinks and shakes it off so she can do what she was told first: "Mr Maynard! Valin, Maverick and Jimmy are not far behind me and have been preparing a welcome for any bots that should chase you. I know where the traps are and can lead you through them safely."

It's only then she suddenly realizes her importance as she forgot they all could very well have fallen into the very traps meant for their pursuers.

Shelly is waiting for Nautilus at the West Pool, having figured that he would go through there when he got bored of watching the newby. "Hey, Nauty." she says with a big smile. "So whatchya think? He a good boy? Or... was there something bothering you?"

Mittens nods in agreement to Orion and Harrison then reminds Hart that were asked to stay behind so they could find good cover for the escape.

"And from the sound of things, our valiant allies had the same idea!" she continues with a smile when Amy informs the group about the fall-back position, "Not to break up this great victory party or anything, but I think Lady Mika is right - the wisest move would be for us to follow the mini mouse and Vamos forthwith!  Lady Emerald, if you please, I think you'd be the right choice for piloting the swatmobile to a good hiding place.  You have proven to know how to drive it, and I presume you know these woods like the back of your paw so you can find your way back to Channelwood?  Probably would be smart to take someone with you, like, Sir Joe.  Sir Hart, if you would, hand your scuba gear to Orion and accompany Lady Mika please.  I'm sure Lady Katy would not want anyone to go alone.  Speaking of whom, Lady Emerald, if you please, you can leave the carrying of Lady Katy to Sir Harrison here."

She grins and thumbs at the Ox.  :D

"His arm can serve as her stretcher for now.  His other arm could serve as your workbench, Dr. Timothius."  ;)

She stands next to Amy then bows to Michael, the one who's clearly in charge of the CFF while Katy is unable.

"Shall we get moving, then, Sir Michael?  Perhaps you could do the honors of carrying the baby bunny for Lady Mika while she hides the rifles?"  ^.^

"Woohoo!" she thinks to herself, "Go me!  I remembered their names!  Wonder why the big deal over the biker bunny?  Oh well.  So what was the other one's name?  Oh yeah!  Daemon Daemon bo Daemon, banana fana fo faemon, Daemon!  Mika Mika bo bika, banana fana fo feeka... MIKA!  Um... Maveric Faveric?  Valin Falin?  Nameless Mouse bo bameless?  Bunny funny?  Oh well...  I guess introductions to come."

Lucky blushes deeply at Mittens calling a girl his age a baby.  How embarrassing!  In any case, he's probably the most anxious in the group to get as far away from Channelwood as possible as soon as possible.  He lets go of Emeralds hand and heads in the direction Amy came from, pausing to make sure the others are with him.

Jimmy arrives at the scene with his suicide squad, notices Katy's limp body, and assumes the worst.  She's not going to make it.  He shakes his head and smears his face with his hand, sighing.  Such a waste of a young life.  Oh well.  He was expecting this.  He gives a grim nod to Michael, indicating he's ready to take orders.

As Mittens gives out the marching orders Mika heads over towards Emerald.  She's feeling less than comfortable taking orders from a complete stranger, no mater how polite she might be. Speaking quielty, once she reaches Emerald she asks, "Who is this person telling everyone what to do, and who did she tell me to walk with?  Shouldn't I go back with you, since I came with you?".  She figures it's best to talk it over with Emerald before deciding to countermand Mittens' orders.

Michael glances towards the newly rescued rabbit that was with lucky and is about to ask a question about where she came from, when the chimpanzee hears Mittens giving orders to people from Channelwood as if she was in command. Michael turns and glares at Mittens as he says in a stern tone of voice, "You are overstepping your bounds. Don't presume you can order those from Channelwood around as if we worked for you, since we don't we have our own chain of command and your not in it. Try to give orders to those not under your command without the authority to do so again, and I'll personally have an lengthy discussion with your superiors about how your disregard for the chain of command of other freedom fighter groups."

Michael then turns to Emerald and Mika, "Mika, go with Emerald when she hides the hoverunit and then you two will head back to Channelwood, the rest of us from Channelwood will head with Amy back to Valin and the others. I'm not going to presume to order around those from Aquarius, but everyone else is free to follow up to where Valin and Maverick have set up an ambush site as that place will be a safe location to dealing with everything else that has to be dealt with prior to heading home."

Michael then turns to Jimmy and notices the look on his face as he says, "Don't worry she'll be fine, you can carry her when we head to meet up with Valin."

Michael then turns to Timothius and considers his statement before saying, "Once we get to Valin and Maverick you can take a look at Katy to make sure it's nothing more serious than just being knocked out, although I will keep an eye on you."

Michael then glances to the unknown rabbit before asking, "Also ...does anyone know her name yet?" as Michael looks around as he points to the newly rescued rabbit as Michael continues, "and how did she end up in Middletown with us having to rescue her anyways? Speaking of that, how did we rescue her? I wasn't present when she was found." Michael waits to head off to where Valin is since he doesn't know who knows what the story is with the strangers yet and he doesn't want to risk sending away Emerald and Mika before they can tell him about the rabbit, if they are the only two people who know the story with her.

Valin looks around once the last trap is ready before saying to Maverick, "Now all we can do is wait till everyone else shows up, which shouldn't be too long."

  "As commented on earlier, they haven't said anything at all so far."  At least when they had a gag on, there was an excuse.

  "Drove a hovercraft through a wall, ran over Blipvert.  The bunny was there along with Lucky, and said road accident victim was about to do something to her when the obvious prevented that.  As you saw, escaping without dieing was sort of the main priority at the time over proper introductions."
