A place to discuss conversions from the D20 system to Savage Worlds.

I don't know if anyone has heard of The Drow War from Mongoose studios, but it is an interesting campaign.  Very Evernight like in presnetation, but diverges greatly.  In the D&D system, it takes characters from level 1 to level 30 over three books.  And these are extensive books as well, with over 250 pages in each of the parts.

However, I find it very daunting with regards to the D20 system, simply becauase of the system more than anything.  I'd like to give a go at converting it, but might could use a little help in a few decisions.  Mainly on how to keep players from rising too high too quickly to stay somewhat in line with the original design of the game.

Anyone willing to help out a little?

I converted a race of sentient spiders from dnd3.0. But they have the webbing spell ability. How should I handle it?

Entangle with 5 pp to spend instead of the free feat would work. I aussmue you're referring to Ettercaps?
