You catch up to Doji Kusanagi inspecting the defenses of the Inner District walls. "Jiro-san, Satoru-san," he says quizzically, "what are you doing here?  I thought you were helping our new arrivals to orient themselves?"

Satoru bows low and holds it. "Forgiveness, Kusanagi-sama. Two of our guests have gone off to make themselves more presentable.  The third, Daidoji Sakura-san, had a most disturbing bit of news.  Accordingly, I hurried here to make certain that you were aware of the report." Satoru stays bowed, perhaps awaiting permission to rise.

"Please," Doji Kusanagi says, "do not stand on ceremony here, we are not in court after all.  What is this report you speak of?"

"Yes Sama, my apologies.  Sakura-san and her compatriots informed us that their are Lion encampments dangerously close to Toshi Ranbo.  Within striking distance.  Sakura then excused herself to speak with the captain of the Daidoji guard & the Scorpion delegation.  Her yojimbo who is currently cleaning the road from himself apparently has more info but I thought it best to first warn you of this possible storm." Satoru says.

"The Lion at our doorstep while the Scorpion and Mantis are already harrying us in court," Doji Kusanagi growls, "and the Winter Season has not even begun yet.  Could you have brought me any worse news?  Never mind," the Crane officer sighs, "I am just irritable.  I am going to call an emergency conference with Doji Kasurugi immediately, go and ensure that all of our newcomers are present."

"Hai, Sama." Satoru replies never once showing any reaction to his commander's displeasure.  "Come let us go find the others." he says to his companions.

Satoru heads off to the lodging where Bayushi Kenji & Kedo were supposed to be staying.
