City of Heroes (Marvel Universe) Welcome to Paragon City Hero. Here is your Hero Registration ID, Medicare Transponder, and Health Insurance card. If you you need a cheap place to stay The landlord over on 32nd. Street offers cheap rates to fledgling heroes. I hear he was once wore spandex too ,but he's much too old for that now. If you need a costume you can find the Tailor in Steel Canyon, but watch out for the Tsoo. They seem to like roughing up wannabe heroes. Just take the Green Line two stops, unless you can fly or run faster than a speeding bullit. link to another game The game uses the official Marvel Universe Roleplaying Game rules, which several of them have been posted in the Character Creation Thread. Friendly GM and players can help you make a memorable non-cannon superhero to play. The game isn't in the Marvel Universe.

Mabushii Academy Mabushii Academy is a school in between the metro and suburban area of Tokyo. It boasts a complete courtyard and collection of buildings. Students from far and wide come to the Academy to be taught by the many talented teachers. But like every life, there are millions of stories, all different save for one similarity, they all have had bad endings. These are the scorned lovers, the thought-to-be-dead heroes, the mourning women, the misshapen man. Though, by some miracle, they were given a second chance. They were sent to Mabushii Academy, which to this day remains true to it's name. Radiant as the sun, this gives bad endings a beacon of hope, a true light at the end of the tunnel. This is where people who have had bad lives have a chance to find the thing they have been looking for the most. . .or the person.

link to another game Twenty Goblin Winters Each clan in the empire has its own traditions and ceremonies. The Crab Clan are no different. Occassionally, not every year, the Crab hold a Twenty Goblin Winter. The open the gates to the Shadowlands and let out participants. Each participant seeks to kill and return the heads of twenty bakemono - goblins - in the space of three months. Those that succeed are usually granted membership in the Crab Clan itself, an incentive that many of the participants find alluring as they are ronin. This year is different. This year, the competition isn't who can bring back the most heads - it is which clan will. A high-ranking Yasuki courtier, Yasuki Nagyo, son of the Yasuki family daimyo, ran his mouth in the presence of the Emperor. "None of the great clans save the Crab could survive a Twenty Goblin Winter" he said. Each of the great clans begged to differ, and sent a fair few of thier youngest, least experienced members to prove it. The players take the role of these inexperienced warriors as they seek to survive in the Shadowlands. They can be of any clan, any family. The game breaks away from the 'offical' L5R timeline, in the year 1167, a year after the fall of Ichiban.

I'm looking for a couple players for L5R: Sword and Flower ( link to another game ). Non-shugenja preferred, any clan (pre-coup) will work at this point; monks and such can be worked in. We just made a major transition, so other than a few oddities the characters don't need to know much ("Blood-speakers bad" & "Blood-speakers now own Otosan Uchi" is probably enough.) Amid the rolling hills and gentle plains of Rokugan rests a city whose walls are as green as jade. Located in the heart of the lands held by the Scorpion Clan, the city of Ryoko Owari Toshi, Journey's End City, the darkest lair of intrigue and villany in the Emerald Empire. Behind the city's gleaming gates lie dark secrets, hidden treasures and poisoned knives. Geisha, sake works and even more sinister vices await the unwary traveler who dares seek his fate in the cold, black heart of the city. Brave her secrets if you dare, but beware, for danger hides behind painted faces. This is a Sandbox L5R 3E revised game. The City of Lies has been brought into the year 1166, and with a team of three GMs, the game is ready to roll. We are looking for some passionate, interesting players to play in the game, following thier own motivations, following city-wide plot threads, and generally indulging in L5R greatness. This game is an exciting game that only needs players to make it take off! Hope to see you there! link to another game |
