Re: Exp Awards

Every time we hit a natural break in the action (like now) I'll be giving out xp; if I forget don't be shy about reminding me.  Generally I'll give 1-2 xp to everyone, but I'll PM extra xp for good roleplaying and working on your RP goals that fall outside the natural flow of the story.  If you can see the xp then they're yours ^_^

given that we're starting a new session:
1xp for everyone

Re: Exp Awards

+2 XP for everyone ^_^

note to new and returning players:  if you can see the xp then it's yours, even if you weren't playing at the time.  I generally award bonus xp via PM in this thread for good roleplaying--this includes things that are detrimental but true to your character--and taking time out to work on your character's personal goals.

Re: Exp Awards

Okay, so apparently the last time I gave xp was almost a year ago, so I think I owe you guys some ^_^
If you've just joined (or are returning after long absence) the rule is, if you can see the xp in the thread, it's yours ^_^

2xp for everyone

More xp to follow after the chapter

Re: Exp Awards

If you participated in the Battle for Toshi Ranbo you get 10xp and 5 glory (in addition to any glory awards earned during the battle)

Inside Toshi Ranbo both your Glory and Status are effectively one rank higher; among the Lion, your status is considered one rank lower.

If you had the Hostage disadvantage, you are now free.

If you had the Social Disadvantage disadvantage, it's effect is one rank less among the Crane and one rank higher among the Lion.

Re: Exp Awards

1) two characters from the original trilogy have cameos in the Final Fantasy JRPG video game series. Who are those characters?

Wedge Antilles and Biggs Darklighter have reoccuring cameos in multiple installments of Final Fantasy.

2) one of the actors from the original trilogy is related to one of the actors from the prequel trilogy. Who are they and what roles did they play?

Denis Lawson, who played Wedge Antilles, is the uncle of Ewan McGregor, who played a young Obi Wan Kenobi.

3) one of the actors from the original trilogy also plays a villain from two different DC franchise television shows. Who are the villains and who plays them?

The Trickster from the Flash and the Joker from Batman the Animated Series are both played by Mark Hamill.

4) Joruus C'baoth from Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy was originally supposed to be a clone of a different Jedi. Who was it supposed to be?

Obi Wan Kenobi

5) Though George Lucas is given credit for writing the novelization of A New Hope, the book was actually ghost written by another author. Who is the author and what other book did he write, set in the same Star Wars era?

Alan Dean Foster, Splinter of the Mind’s Eye

6) George Lucas wanted all unknown actors for his primary trio in the original trilogy, he made an exception for one actor. Who was it and in what prior movie had he starred?

Harrison Ford, American Graffitti

7) exactly one actor has played in Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Kingdom Hearts. Who is the actor and what roles did he play?

Christopher Lee played the parts of Count Dooku/Darth Tyranus, Saruman the White, and DiZ/Ansem the Wise

8) David Tennant, best known as the Tenth Doctor (you knew I was going to fit in a Doctor Who reference somewhere ^_^), also voices a character in the Star Wars universe. Who is the character and what is his job?

Huyang, teacher of lightsaber construction

9) Which character appears in exactly three movies and has their own television series?

Wicket (the only recurring Ewok character) appeared in: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi, Caravan of Courage: an Ewok Adventure, Ewoks: the Battle for Endor, and Ewoks (1985 TV series)

10) George Lucas did not give everyone the same script for Empire Strikes Back. The script Mark Hamill and James Earl Jones got the one where Darth Vader says: "No. I am your father." What did Darth Vader say in decoy versions of the script? (paraphrasing is acceptable)

“No. Obi Wan killed your father.”
