 Very cool - notice the amount of work needed to turn crappy iron sand into usable metal and how many different specialists were involved at different stages of the process. I strongly suspect that I wouldn't have been able to manage the sharpening-over-water bit without losing fingers, even assuming I'd gotten that far with eyebrows remaining. ^_^

Oh hey, it's that time again! Our Christmas Trivia Quiz, a little late this year because 2016 has been terrible. But Star Wars themed in honor of Rogue One. Spoiler free (of course) because I don't want to ruin anyone's enjoyment of the movie (but also because I have not seen it yet).

Yup, got eaten by the Nothing. More seriously, I have two days before summer (still a teacher, and the end of year is ... busy) and my spouse is headed in for surgery (not an emergency, relatively routine). I'm still alive though, just...exhaused.

Ah, sweet! Still alive. :) You must not have gotten hit with as much snow as we did; my kid is still in school (nominally, if not mentally) until the 14th. :D
