Hello, new player joining the game.  Say hello to Moto Dayu of the Unicorn.  I noticed a tremendous lack of horses in the game and so decided to fix that.   On a more serious note, it has been a while since I last played L5R and I am glad to get a chance back in it.  Though I am going to have to remind myself that this is back at the beginning of Toturi I as I really started during the time of Toturi III.

I have been playing in the land of 4th Ed for some time myself, and in parts forward of 1170 (Iweko I, Light of Heaven, the Dragon Emperor) so I am having adjustment issues as well.

 While I'm still mentally caught at the end of the thousand years of peace before ask the bloody stupid monster of the week tournament stuff.

I know nothing - at least nothing that has to do with the meta-arcs.  I just try to focus on the characters in the game.

That being said, that's a challenge too since about 4000 posts of the game happened before I joined.  So when in doubt I just credit Kedo with being awesome and move on. ;)

 I would say that this is unsupported idolatry until I look back at what the die roller has done to me. As an Englishman, this makes me deeply uncomfortable. ^_^

Ummm, it's supposed to be 3 contests per day, but time got a little skewed because I'm a flake. Also, I did a poor job of representing the time. So...maybe two events per day? Assuming y'all don't cram more awesomeness in between events?

Kenshin is in all of them, but isn't doing much between events; Kasumi is in one of them, but will probably bow out after (if) she faces Kedo (since that is her only reason for entering); and Sakura is in none of them (but will freak when she finds out Kasumi has entered even one of them ....

Until the Void Mage and/or "special character(s)" run into the twins ... I don't think it really matters to me.

 One morning, one afternoon works... Since I have long since lost track of many of the things that are going on and only remembered I was supposed to manipulate things for the Dragonfly like, two posts ago. ^_^

If it makes you feel better, I didn't remember you were supposed to manipulate things for the Tonbo until you mentioned it just now XD

 That's why I did up the Commonplace Book of Yasuki Rin for the other game, just so I had a small chance of keeping track. I might need to do one here too. ^_^
