I have the classic traveler books, but it has literally been decades since I played.

It had been 4 decades since I had played, now I'm in 10 Traveller games, 3 of which the DM disappeared from, so I started my own. I can get you what you need if you are interested, A few of the other players are experts.

I would be willing to try, though perhaps you would be better off with a group of experts. Either way...

I must be a slacker, playing only 6 characters across 3 games, all on RPOL. I used to run two games here, but other activities with Real Life™ interaction demanded more of my time, so I had to end them. :( I've been debating restarting one of them, now that COVID put a halt to my other activities, but I keep thinking that as soon as I did, there would be a cure. ...

I'm only in 8 rn, but I co-gm two of them. Most update daily so I feel swamped often, especially if I don't get a post in on a day.

This and another 2 of my games are the slower ones. I've been in this one the longest as my other longest came to an end but it started a series of games I now play in.

Only one case of reinfection is confirmed. All others are anecdotal. Currently 24 strains of the virus are known.

Someone died of Bubonic Plague last month in New Mexico, I think it was.  It will never be gone, but the likelihood of getting it will go down over time.  In fact, the people who will die from it are more or less being prolonged, not prevented.  The words, "save a life" are a selling point to the control over freedom.

It went way down, Millions died during the Middle Ages. You got the plague in the morning, you were dead in the evening.

When I was stationed in Germany, I had to get inoculated against Bubonic plague. Two shots, and they had to be a certain distance apart, or they would give you the plague. Ack!
It was in the news today, I guess it is currently a problem in seventeen Chinese provinces right now.

The page is telling me we are reaching the 1000 post cap, and to tell the DM? Guessing he knows, but I like to do as I am told...

I think that is a misunderstanding of the numbers. The average age was lower than now, but old people got just as old, it was just that so many died young. Look at how many civil war vets lived into their nineties.

Which is why the average was so low. I know folks lived into their 80s and 90s, but most died young from infection or disease.
