Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm here to let you know that I have no news to share. However, because I believe in Murphy's Law, that may only be temporary since I'm posting something now.

My wife's father passed suddenly while we were visiting him for the holidays. Since her mother and brother have already passed, my wife is now the executrix of her father's will. We had to break the news to everyone, take care of the service, see the lawyer, etc. It's been a busy time. We are finally at home because my daughter has missed enough school and my wife has missed enough work - I am finally able to update you all on a computer with a keyboard. However, the game is still on pause.

Since I'm on furlough because of COVID, I will be heading back down to my father-in-law's house in a couple of days to deal with as many of his things as I can (mostly the stacks of paperwork). I'd like to be able to give you a firm, "The game will resume here," date, but I have no clue how soon I'll be back at home again.

Everyone here's doing okay.

On a lighter note:

In the evenings while we were away, I was able to DM a game for my wife and the three grandkids a few times. The group had already made a sizable dent in Level One of the MMD, and last week they took on Level Two. No spoilers, but they had fun, and though they got banged up a bit, all survived to delve some more at a later date.

We also played a bit of Yatzhee and Payday when the kids didn't feel like playing D&D.

I am still dealing with my mother's estate, so I can certainly sympathize about all the paperwork.

Yatzee!!! I still play that with my daughter. I am sorry for what you are having to go through but keep strong for your family. We can always have another round and tell of the Adventures of Nemrac for years to come.

Payday is my favorite day. Everyone else gets paid, I make money. :)

I love payday too ;) and the buying of goodies for my child but I hate the part before payday lol

We always called it mother's day.  You pay this mother and that.

Finally back home - give me a day or so to familiarize myself with where each group is at and I will get you running again.

Alexi runs up and hugs the Traveller. Then holds him at arms length and clasps his shoulders.

"Dryad? What do you mean; it has only been a day since we last talked, right?? I had this dream last night about a woman though..."

He ponders Sithero's words along with his memories.

"It has been a day, yes? I feel pretty good, but...I also feel like I have missed you..." looking a bit worried.
