I thought it was 150, but didn't have the post. Beasts of Burden, they are NOT! A mule can carry over 400 pounds.

I use the carrying capacity of a pony and it was 100lbs with no load.

150 lbs is a pound higher than I thought, and frankly isn't bad, since Llama's backs aren't as strong as mules, and are better at pulling things than carrying directly.

Llama can carry 75-100 pounds
Mule 150-300#
Horse 400#
Human about 50% body weight
Dog 25% body weight
Cat about 2-4#

Sure a cat can only carry 2-4 pounds.  But what about a herd of cats?!  What if you brought 10,000 half-wild shorthairs along?  That would be some serious treasure moving capability!

I have fifteen outside and now two inside, one that wound up at my back door with a bullet in its lower back.   Blindman Lord of the cats is what one of my complex's kids calls me.

Why no carry capacity listing for an unladen swallow??? Surely it's a least a single coconut.

An African swallow maybe, but they're non-migratory.
