Notable places and people around Nemrac...

Curbral – this small farming village boasts one lone tavern and no inn, though the villagers are friendly to adventurers, who have saved the village on more than one occasion. A popular quote there is, “Only adventurers go south!”

Curbrin – a small mining village and stopover point for travelers, the village has one large inn and a miners’ bunkhouse with extra cots if you don’t mind sleeping in a common room.

Curdann – One of the newest villages in the south of Nemrac, the gnomish Curate of Flandal Tessa and her acolytes make sure that the villagers stay healthy and in one piece.

Curjeff - When you descend into this village, you hear a crier. "Nivek and Meralan, at your service! Need something Identified? Just 250 gold pieces! Continual Light is free! Other spells negotiable. Just off the Zocalo, for your convenience!"
Everything you might buy here costs 1 1/2 times what it would in any other town. Here's a rundown of the services Curjeff has to offer:
Armorer and Smith, Bodorinafenn (But call me Dorin). This dwarven apprentice of Nemrac City's best is ready to make his way, with apprentices of his own. He has most weapons and armor right here, and can repair flaws and damage to most any arms and armor.
Bowyer and Fletcher, Henry Fizizilk. This elven archery expert makes and sells bows, crossbows, arrows and quarrels.
Chief Constable Dodson. A constabulatory of about twenty men guards the merchants, adventurers and watches the entrances for anything that might come out.
Initiate of the 3rd Circle, Orion Windwalker. He and his druids have set up a sacred grove about a hundred yards away from the village. There they offer their spells for gold - Detect Magic for 150 gp, Goodberry for 250 gp, Neutralize Poison for 1000 gp, and others from 150 to 500 gp.
The Ace of Spades. The one large inn here is the Ace of Spades, where the food is getting better, and the rooms are better than they used to be, but it's better than camping in the rain if you don't have to. For such fare it costs too much, too. And each 20' by 12' room sleeps four comfortably, but it costs 5 gp, no matter how many folks you cram into it.
Moneychanger and Jeweler, Noel Reytam. Unlike in most towns where moneychanging to and from gems, jewelry and coin just happens, Noel charges a 5% fee to switch coins to gems, or vice versa.
Leatherworker and Tanner, Bart Macdougal. He handles all the leather armors that Dorin doesn't want to take on, and can tan hides of the beasts you might wish to display proudly in your home.
The Zocalo. Here in the main square, you can find merchants and traders willing to sell all the items one might find in a general store, and also buy some of the items you might find inside the Dungeon.
The Temple to Flandal. Here, sixteen priests of Flandal await the needs of a village full of merchants and adventurers. While any Cure or Aid spell is free, the priests will cast other spells for anywhere from 100 gp to 500 gp. Unfortunately, none of them are powerful enough to cast Neutralize Poison, so you'll have to pay the druids if you need that one.

Curmiss – Home to Mama Shirl’s Restaurant, which many swear is the best food in Nemrac (including the city). The wizard Gregory Schmitt and his manservant Shaymus also make their homes here.

Curtal – Lon Lovell is the mayor of this mining village, which is the home to the Curtal Mine. Twenty years ago the Curtal Mine Disaster wounded dozens and killed dozens more. It was all the grown-ups talked about for a good long while.

Curzani – In this mining village, retired adventurer the Lady Ansley lives here with her servants and apprentice Roderick. She is a rather private person now, but does emerge from her manor to help the village should they need her.

Curzhad – The newest mine resulted in this village cropping up shortly afterward. Jahn Kelley is the gnomish leader/constable, as the mine tunnels are only gnome- and halfling- sized. Masterminer Bomkamp can often be found here supervising the digging.

Delbraga – A good-sized mining town, Delbraga is home to the Don’t Fall Inn and the Wine Mine. Paulie can often be found tending the Wine Mine bar, where Gretta will drench anyone who doesn’t wash their face and hands before entering. Sheriff Robert Wurtel enjoys his favorite vintage at the Wine Mine now and then.

Delgrat – this town contains many shops as well as Zaggie’s Place, the largest Inn in town. Markus the Druid frequents the place, and the seven-foot tall human cuts an impressive figure around town.

Delkrag – here Tim and Tom Bronguld run My Brother’s Inn, where most adventurers go to meet up and look for leads, while Reginald Ells sells his fabrics and clothes, and Denny Mellis travels with his selection of beers and wines.

Delmarb – this town boasts the Jump Right Inn with its bathhouse with hot water! The Buck and the Boar taproom serves fine food and drink, and there are many shops here.

Nemrac City – The city boasts many inns and taverns, but perhaps the most famous are Davyd’s Inn and Davyd’s Out. However, for good libations, adventurers soon learn to go to the Beheaded Orc. The city also is home to the sage M.P. Bey.
