Jorn grunted as well, chain held ready behind Gurgun to strike anything that might come near.

The door slid open, and Gurgun found himself face to grey rotten face with an orc zombie. "Grugh..." it greeted. Maybe it was his name?

Slove swops from bow to sword.  Steps to side so Gurgun can move back into room and let creature be surrounded if wants.

Re: The Twilight Tomb: The Citadel Of Glass

OOC: There'll be cover from the corners here, benefit both sides where appropriate.

Mid-Round Update:

The corridor behind was filling with undead minions. Two elven skeletons screeched and brought their bows to bear, firing fletched shafts down the corridor and around the corners at Gurgun. It was an awkward angle, and they only hit the zombies in front, who didn't seem to mind. [S1 and S2 attack, 12 and 7, miss]

An undead hobgoblin quickly shoved his sword through the gap between orc zombie and door-frame at Gurgun, who swayed to the side and used the corner to his advantage and protection. [H attack 16, missed]

Re: The Twilight Tomb: The Citadel Of Glass

Feeling somewhat restricted by the doorway Gurgun forgoes his quarterstaff and instead strikes at the zombie with a kick-punch combination. The undead orc seem not to feel the kick but the punch crushes through bone and muscle.
The monk then takes a few steps back to allow their enemies to enter the room and be surrounded.

Jorn hesitates, the doorway being too small for his chain to be of use. Instead he looks towards the cleric, waiting for his team-mates to clear the way;

Re: The Twilight Tomb: The Citadel Of Glass

Garel staff impacted weakly on the soft yielding flesh, not slowing the zombie in the slightest. [Garel: damage canceled by DR, no effect]

Jorn had had more experience with the zombies, having spent longer in this benighted realm. Wisely drawing his axe, good for close-range work, he hacked off the zombie's arm, dropping it to the ground. [Jorn: full damage]

Slove's sword brushed harmlessly off the orc's studded leathed armour. [Slove misses]

The hobgoblin zombie shuffled behind the orc, and slipped his sword through the doorway at Jorn, who narrowly dodged it. [H moves to H7, attack 20 @ Jorn, miss]

The elf skeleton rattled forwards into the hobgoblin's place, firing an arrow that bounced off the door-frame instead. [S1 moves to G7, attack 13, miss]

OOC: The orc is down, so Jorn may change his action, or attack a new target (elf skeleton or hobgoblin zombie are available). Garel may also act now.

Mid-Round Update:

Gurgun's mighty limbs finally shattered the bones of the undead orc, and sent it slamming into the glass floor with a meaty thud. It didn't get up. [Gurgun slays orc zombie]

Jorn took off it's head with his axe, just to be sure, and was ready for the next one.
