Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

I think I'll pick up scroll of Resurgence also.

Yeah, the spell is nice as the 'Oops, someone just went down.  Or maybe not' spell.  Also the fact that it's a range-heal is a big bonus.

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Watch out for -2 strength.  I had to lighten my load to keep it under light load...

I can no longer use power attack either.  This is gonna really suck :P

I generally carry a medium load, is that going to be a problem?

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Well, it probably doesn't matter to you since I think you are wearing heavy armor.

Medium Load works sort of like wearing medium armor.  They don't stack.  You simply pick worse penalty.  So you are probably OK.  We also can't run or charge as fatigued, so there's little difference between medium and heavy armor anyways.

You get your 'Max Dex Bonus' also lowered, but since we are all getting -2 Dex...probably won't be an issue.

I was lightly loaded, but -2 strength from fatigue lowered my carrying capacity, and put into medium load.  I have light armor on, so it's an issue for me :P

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Yes, I'm in heavy armor.  The heaviest you can get from the PHB, I think.  :p

Well I can actually carry a bit more and still be carrying only a medium load.  And if I got to pick, anyway, between the worse penalties of carrying a heavy load or wearing the heavy armor, should I also be able to carry a heavy load anyway then?

I'm asking because I could carry the extra stuff that you guys can't.  That's something Jyslyn would do, anyway, even if it put her in extra danger.  Except for Rjak/Jack.  He could go hang himself, but thankfully he's not here to worry about anyway.  :p

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

You are wearing full plate, then?  MaX Dex bonus is 1, Check penalty is -6, and your movement goes down to 20'.  It's exactly the same as Heavy load, so you will be fine in heavy load as well.

If you try to pick stuff up IC though, I will probably IC to leave'em.  Anything we can replace in the villege, my character will probably tell to leave'em behind and keep moving.

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Well, I doubt Isiah needs anything to be carried.  He's not wearing armor or anything.

Since Andredi doesn't, then I think we are all set.

I had a lot of mundane equipment like ropes, lanterns, etcs.  Some of them things are like up to 5 lbs range.  I kept myself just within the light load, so the reduction of strength screwed me :P

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Not me, I'm not dropping anything.  :p  *giggles*

Seriously, Jyslyn will follow the others because it is probably in their best interests to do so even though she doesn't usually like running from a fight.  She will also try to stay at the back of them so that if they are caught up to, she can try to inflict as much pain as possible and possibly turn back their attackers before they harm her friends.  :)

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

It's not really going to do much good, since unless we plan on leaving Jyslyn behind (Isiah sure isn't going to do that), we'd all be slowed to her movement rate, anyway.  With heavy armor, I don't think she can run faster than 60 feet a round, at most, anyway, and since we're already exhausted, I'm thinking that a speed of 40 feet per round is really the highest we can keep.

Yes that’s true but I still think that was an excellent plan of action and definitely playing in character. I would give you all XPs but I don't know if I should.

Re: Main OOC & Game Discussion

Yeah, with the fatigue, the only reason I dropped stuff is it actually matters to me :P

Besides, I figure we don't need stuff like lantern and rope (Unless Andredi has a brilliant idea and go "Hey, we can use those stuff to create a quick and dirty fire-wire trap, to delay the pursuers." or something.  Alas, Kanas has no skill in such crafty things)
