1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

After a couple of hours in the blissful pleasure of a beautiful woman’s bed, as Julian and Blythe were about to drift into the darken sleep of the enfolding night, a ruckus broke the silence.

Suddenly the door to their room was kicked in and three knights of Takhisis stepped inside, causing Blythe to sit up in pallid horror, forgetting to cover herself as the quaint quilt she shared with Julian was captured by gravity.

Each knight wore a pendant around his neck that harshly lit up the darkness as they violated the sanctity of privacy, the two first with drawn swords, but the third, who looked like an armored spellcaster, was too distracted by his view of Blythe to take more than a step inside the door.

“Where is she,” one of them asked Julian as he placed the hard cold steel of his sword tip with some pressure against Blythe’s barely uncovered navel. While the other knight first looked under the bed and then drew the cover from them.

Re: 1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

To say that Julian was surprised would have been an understatement.  Still, it wasn't like he relied on weapons or armor to see him through his daily life anyway, so his nakedness was more a blow to his rather thin modesty than any cerdible threat on its own.  Blythe probably couldn't say the same, though, and it was always good to think of others before yourself.

Julian looked up at the knight that had removed the sheets and grinned.

"Did you really think we were having sex while someone was under the bed?  I'm a free thinker, but that's a little bit much, even for me.  Now, who are you talking about?  I don't tell strangers too much about my little black book, but seeing as how you have me at a disadvantage I suppose I'll comply."

He successfully fought the urge to make shadow puppets while waiting for their response.

"Don't try that with us," the knight said. "Either you tell us where she is or we'll take you until you do. The choice is yours."

Re: 1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

He turned to Blythe and spoke softly.  "Now, don't take this the wrong way..."

He then continued his discourse with his interlopers.  "Honestly, I know a lot of women.  I'm really trying to help here.  Believe me, 'stabbing' was something that was only supposed to be metaphorical for me this evening."

[Private to GM:

I'd like to be able to fling Blythe and Julian out the window with a Force effect.  Also, a soft landing would be nice.  :)

Casting Time - Immediate (8)
Range - Touch (1)
Duration - 1 round (1)  ... just enough to escape
Activation - willing targets (-1)
Area - 5ft cube (1)
Effect - Movement 100ft (3)
 - Move self (+20)

TOTAL = 33

Can he pull this off?  If possible, he'd like it to be discerning enough to drag Blythe's and his own belongings with them, but he'd rather just escape than be fancy.

Re: 1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

Julian cast his spell and in the wink of an eye the both of them appeared in Julian's room at the Five Dragons Inn. Not that he had spent any time there after he dropped his backpack there. And it didn't include any extra clothing anyway.

[OOC: If you want to go someplace else instead, please let me know.]

Re: 1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

Julian looked down at his nakedness and shrugged, and a smile crept back.

"No use trying to find a tailor tonight... that'll be a favor from my brother in the morning, I'm guessing.  In the meantime, my lady... I've been told that a good fright can excite a woman.  Is that true?"

He winked at her and beckoned her back to bed.  It was a bit of a long shot, but Julian wasn't going to let a murderous brush with death slow him down for any longer than necessary.

Blythe was still frightened, she didn't reply to Julian's question. She stood unmoving on the floor until he beckoned her towards him. And like a zombie she moved towards him and the bed. A bed to narrow for them to lie next to each other.

Well, wasn't he just a cad.  Julian sighed inwardly rather than outwardly and kneeled down next to Blythe as she was on the bed.

"You should stay the night here.  I think its clearly not safe for us outside, and maybe we're okay here.  I have a few tricks up my sleeve still, so if its all the same for you I'll just make the ground feel like a good warm bed and you can have the real bed.  In the morning we'll get you back to your friends and try to figure out if you're in any trouble or not.  Sound good?"

"Okay," Blythe said in a very small, almost soundless, voice.

Re: 1.1g Nightly Visitors (Julian)

What a lousy night this turned out to be.

Julian did what he could to stay warm and comfortable while naked on the floor, casting what spells he could muster to make it more bearable.

Where the hell was his cousin and the rest of them?
