Intro Peter MarKenin
While visiting Pashin, on his first mission as a squire, to purchase horses for the High Warrior, Peter was taking a walk, to clear his head, the count of one, two, three four leaving his lips repeatedly, one word for each step, and next to him next to him walked his celestial wolf companion, when he saw a hole in the street in front of his feet. And under that hole was a ladder leading down to the sewers. Which Peter decided to investigate.
Peter climbed down the ladder and his golden eyes glimmered in the darkness, the wolf jumping down after him. The chamber he found himself in was 60-90 feet wide on each side with an artesian well in the middle.
Three tunnels left the chamber in three different directions, though one of them fairly soon turned right. In the center of each tunnel was a gully wider than two men needed to fight next to each other and about as deep as they were tall. The gully was half filled with water and waste that washed down the hewn stone walls in narrow channels from the roads above. On each side of the gully was a walkway of relatively smooth flagstones, though slick in places, wide enough for one warrior. The ceiling curved up into an arch over the center of the gully and at the edges it was about twice your height and in the center about a half height higher.
