Re: thunderstone

Woop it worked! :)

*ding*

...now. Ranger or Fighter? Or Barbarian or Bard? Or a strange class I've never heard of? Lunctime will be research time!

Also am I right in reading the SRD as kobolds are humanoid (reptilian), not dragon? Just thinking a favoured enemy possible if going ranger? (need to find my notes on what classes to take when)

Re: thunderstone

Trying to keep to core classes. As the rest of him is odd.

Reptilian humanoids? Hmm Guess it will be what it is?

Ranger it is, I need track as a pre req, and it will be useful here and a bonus for killing kobolds! :)

...now how can I get a +2 CHA item so I can actually cast my bard spells?! :)
Or +1 to cast, +2 to cast and get another spell! :)

Re: thunderstone

The bard, he says he can track people so He is going with what he says he can.

Penville:
"You know" He says, once more flciking through the book. Apparently saying no to drinks meant he'd got it back out again "I think I could find them if we find a footprint, they look quite easy to follow? They seem stupid. I think it's our duty to help them find peace. Everyone dies. And it seems their time is up." He looks slightly grim at the news, his nose in the air as he speaks. It looks odd.

That's as laughable as calling him a bard or a warrior. :p

Re: thunderstone

Well, Torbetton, you're not too harsh, Magpie (Mordaenwen, you don't go around with your real name in her business) has been through worse... much worse. Just don't expect her to get cuddly all of a sudden :P

Thanks for the welcome :)

Please note there is a significant difference between the player and the character, if she becomes too difficult to play with, let me know and I'll see if I can change something. You know, I have a tendency to let myself getting carried away ;)

Oh no worries.  Just wanted to make sure I wasn't scaring the new players off.  Just he is a dwarf and all so bringing new people into the circle is always going to be a little rough.

Um, that's a simple question of Spot vs. Hide check. Of course the DM should answer that, I just figured I speed up the game. Sorry if it bugs you.

Re: thunderstone

In reply to Torbetton Forgehammer (msg #956): she rolled against a set DC. Of course you may choose to track her... But that would hardly serve you at this point would it?
This is a highly creative roleplaying group, so I'm accepting a lot of ideas having confidence you will play it out well.

Good day all, and that I do hope that the day is good, or at the very least pleasant enough to be above that which is held as anything less than good.    I don’t suppose that anyone of you could kindly direct me to where I should post next?

Re: thunderstone

Welcome!

Ah, you got the wrong OOC thread. This is the one that's nearly hit the 1000-post limit. Cormyr: OOC forum II is the current one. And Cormyr: Call To Arms is the current game-thread, though Dyvim recently told us he was given new orders. I guess that'll change back soon.
