Re: CORMYR: OOC Forum

So, ready to move on? Arabel is a fairly large town, and at a crossroads meaning that a lot merchants pass through. Most mundane items can be found, and magical on case by case (armors and weapons should be plentiful, as well as rings of protection and armor, more exotic items maybe).
Let me know what you hope to find, and when you're ready to ride out and we'll move this adventure along.

I was waiting on the others, but I think I'm ready. I'll try to sort my character later, and find some things to buy.

Re: CORMYR: OOC Forum

Nothing, or nearly so. You have horses (or ponies) waiting for you at the south gate. There is time to shop now unless you have any more questions.

Re: CORMYR: OOC Forum

I plan to move you out of town and on your way on Friday. Anyone having major objections to that please let me know!
Also, if you had plans for shopping that you didn't have time to carry out we'll work it out later.
The trip to Thunderstone will take two days: One day to cross the Wyvernwater and another day of overland travel to the foot of the Thunder Peaks.

I have no need to shop, I tried to think of every thing I could when I created the character.

Re: Shopping list

Sorry, I forgot to respond earlier.

I don't think I need anything in particular, or can afford anything I really want. :) I'll buy a scroll case for the charter and magic scroll though.

Re: Shopping list

Alright, I'm back.  I'll not try to catch up today, my mind is on other things.  Tomorrow, though, I'm all yours.

Anyway, I was going to be gone this weekend, hiking and doing trail work on Cold Mountain.  Woke up yesterday morning, it was snowing.  By midday, a couple inches, and still falling.  So, we abandoned the work and left, first chance, fastest route off the mountain.  Not only that, but we got to the campsite late the night before, stopping in the gap below rather than continuing up the mountain.  As we were only carrying water to hike in, and not enough to cook with, we had planned on filtering more during the last leg.  The one we didn't hike.  So there we were, out of water(and food, since most of it's dehydrated), with a several mile hike down a snow and mud covered trail ahead of us.  Luckily, it was snowing.  Had to melt a few potfuls of snow for breakfast.  Our Scoutmaster is going to get ahold of some "I survived winter camping" patches for those of us who went.

"Tomorrow, though, I'm all yours."

...That was the plan.  I'd say it again, but I'm gone most of the day on Wednesdays.  So... Thursday, I guess!  Thursday, I shall devote to rpol.

Re: Shopping list

Okay, I've skimmed, so I know what's going on.  Just so you know, unless pressed for more information, Barry introduced himself as such: 'I'm called Blue.  Came in through Suzail.'  In his line of work, you don't give away your name so easily.

Chances are most adventurers would know that.  But nice bit of character!  Never seen anyone use an entire turn for talking before.

I'm waiting for the GM, then I'll do something.
