Re: Shopping list

Sorry for the delay guys. Got really occupied this week end.

Not that it was real life related: I reactivated my city of heroes account. Every time I play MMOs, I tend to forget to check rpol sometimes. Well, at least I am honest :)

Re: Shopping list

Ah, that is a good game, what server do you play on?

I Play on Guardian, well haven't been there in four months, budget constraints.

I will be able to post at the beginning of turn 4 in order of my initiative.

Re: Shopping list

Hi all!
I've co-hosted a two day meeting over here and have been busy around the clock. Expect an update late in the day tomorrow. Barry; if you have time post, otherwise I'll just NPC you. Seeing you are encased in the tanglefoot goo, I'll just have you go total defence until the goo breaks (will happen next round).

I'm always surpised when Penville seems useful?! :)

Designed as a comical bad character, he can still fight if the dice rolls come out! :)

Re: Shopping list

In reply to Torbetton, I play on Vigilance, french-speaking server in the European version of the game. I just hope with the coming extension there will be new people. It is _very_ ligthly populated. I don't know about the population of US servers ?

Hello gang!
Just to let you know I'm still waiting for Penville. He doesn't seem to have logged in since friday, and I'm giving him another day or two max before wrapping up combat (and award XP!).

oOOOH just beat the bell

sorry college had a lot less time and internet than I was expecting!

(plus I thought I'd already rolled all the attacks, which is why I asked the GM to post for me if I was absent)

Hope it's all worked out? :)

Re: Shopping list

Combat is over and XP's awarded!

Good show folks, although you would have been harder pressed if not for the appearance of Penville, and to a lesser extent Samuel. I'll leave you to make your in game inroductions and post-battle banter before moving on to Thunderstone.

I was suprisingly efficient and useful? I guess even bad builds can become powerful with the right levels?! :)

Re: Shopping list

Bad builds can be very powerful as long as they are lucky with the Dice Roller.

Re: Shopping list

I am still here, but my character, though sociable isn't the best person for first impression as his Dwarf heritage makes him a little rough.  He had already gotten his questioned answered so right now he isn't saying any thing.  Eventually as he gets to trust the group you will have a hard time keeping him from treating you like family.

I might be scarce the coming days. Please bear with me; there will be a debrief and then you'll have time to explore town and figure out what to do next.

Walter:
I frowned as the halfling peered unknowingly at the Charter, and I wondered if he was unable to read. This filled me with a certain trepidation, as I was bound by Oghma to teach any folk who asked how to read and write, for no fee or favour. I took the scroll back and placed it in the case, before he could inevitably get jam on it or something.

JAM?!

JAM?!!?!?!

Really... JAM!?

Re: Shopping list

My heads gone blank?

If I have 34 hit points normally.
And raged to get +8 to 42

Been hit to 35 hp

When out of rage do I lose the "bonus" hp (so be at 35/34 = 34/34)
Or lose all the hp? (so be at 27/34)

So I can update the character! :)

The first option: you lose your bonus HP first.

Re: Shopping list

See I wasn't sure as of course when the rage ends, you lose your extra con too.
I thought that's why barbarians above 5th level always died in combat if they fell when raging?

...but happy with full hp! :)

Re: Shopping list

Sorry Penville. Should I have said vegemite, or maybe peanut butter? :p

Actually, the extra hitpoints gained in Rage aren't bonus hitpoints at all. Your Con score itself goes up, so all the hitpoints you gain are due to having a high Con, like if you increased it with levels or an item. So your hitpoints go from 34/34 to 42/42.

When Rage ends, the Con score goes down, and your hitpoints go back down to their correct level. So from 35/42 to 27/34.

That's why Barbarians die if they take too much damage.
