Re: thunderstone

Ready to have you moving again, just having some issues with finding the time this weekend. I'm going to Florida for a week tomorrow (on business) and will try and update the game ASAP.

Re: thunderstone

Walter:
Penville, do you have a particular language when talking to the dog, or is it just Common?

Specifics have been left out.

Penville speaks common to the dog.
The dog, is a dog. It barks. So I guess, 'dog' would be appropriate.

Re: thunderstone

Just for you guys to know: most probably I won't be able to post before the weekend. If you reach the point in which I should get in the game before that, DM Solo is free to NPC me if necessary.

Re: thunderstone

Penvilles never had money, everyone dying before this party ever got paid!

So likely this will be the same for him. But the numbers are too much to bear (and so he wants the advance to get the potions, or potions if possible)

Re: thunderstone

A lot of people are off-line at the moment, so let's take a pause until we're back to strength.

In the meantime some players haven't checked in for a month or so, and therefore I'd like to make a roll-call to see who's still active. Please post a reply to this message and let me know you still follow the game.

There is another player ready to join once his character is checked, hope to be able to introduce him soon.

Present.

I held off responding to the last post from you, as I realised I was the only one who appeared to be playing.

Re: thunderstone

Go for it!

You might be? :)

Just back from Italy and graduation so I should be good for posting daily/every few days.

We may have to hold off the party.

Glad my purposely badly made character is actually good at fighting now he's a higher level! :)

Re: thunderstone

We seem to be changing the cast of this game more often than outfits at a Britney Spears consert.

Right now we're down to three regular posters: Walter, Penville and Torbetton. The rest will be set aside or removed very shortly.

I'm very glad to welcome Dyvim, and hope is in for the long haul! :-)

Re: thunderstone

I was going to ask how you continue a story when more than half the people disappear. I ask as the same thing has just happened in my game.

Meanwhile, adding "My first monsters" to inventory ;)

Re: thunderstone

The answer is: I don't know yet... Hoping to keep the four current players for a while now, in order to build continuity and suitable challenges.
Right now your adventuring charter is hopelessly obsolete; so that will have to be addressed once I get something of a more stable roster.

Re: thunderstone

This is why I've barely levelled with this character. I warned you when I started. Normally it's the GM that disappears, now it's the players. Penville the cursed strikes again!

Re: thunderstone

Cormyr once spent an entire year in a tavern over one day, and another year for the next day in the same tavern, though a small adventure occurred that time. In that time, it passed through three or four DMs.

So it's going comparatively well right now. :D

It's a common plague around RPoL. It's really annoying when players won't post, but hang around just enough that you can't get rid of them either and just have to NPC half the party. :(

Penville, I don't know what you want to do about your Illiteracy, but Walter is bound by his faith to try to teach you to read (Oghma help me!). We can discuss how to play it if you like.
