Re: Water and Desert Heat

Lanka will trade out all of her 0-level slots for create water.  That gives us 24 gallons/day.

You guys might want a backup in case she dies, though.

DM Grimclaw:
(not sure about Joseph's and Aelynia's mounts)

I don't know - how much do camel's need?  We're sharing one of those.

According to Wikipedia, a camel can go without water for two weeks, and food for a whole month.

Re: Water and Desert Heat

True, but it probably makes a better mount if it has some water. I will consider that.
At the very least the camels endurance feat helps it delay dehydration and lack of food effects.

Depending on the total load, the mount may require a little more water.

Re: Water and Desert Heat

If alister trades all his level 1 spell he will be able to make 4 gallons of water.  He is self sufficient in surviving the derest.  But working on a group he sucks.

So he will make sure Lanka survives the trip.

Everyone knows Tuar is useless.  The only thing he has a use for is to swing a sword at people.  And maybe have a little experience with locks and traps.

Re: Water and Desert Heat

Hi all, thanks for having me in your game, hope I can live up to what you've created so far.  This if the first time I've run as a player in an RPOL game that wasn't full of people I didn't already know, so forgive me if I break any unspoken rules.

Re: Water and Desert Heat

Nope, I'm the truly useless one Tuar.  I can't even swing a sword, let alone own one.  And I can't own enough water or food even to take care of myself either.  :P

And...wait...we have unspoken rules?  We have rules at all?  :)

In one level, you won't ever need to again.  ;)  Until then, though, Joseph would be happy to take care of you.  :)

Re: Water and Desert Heat

Yeah but that one level is a long journey through the desert away...

And I'm sure that Joseph would, but that would hardly be fair unless he were doing it for everybody.  Aelynia must suffer some and not take too much kindness from strangers (or her new acqaintances) or else Ilmater would not be pleased.

Then Ilmater should grant her XP enough to reach level 5 right away, if he really care so much. :P

With what?  My spit?  :P  Just kidding, everything I earn or find is a tithe of sorts.  Every bit of my part of our proceeds goes to help somebody sick or poor or suffering...on and on...
