Sorry about not alerting you... :( But this game was going so slow, and everyone else in the game is in other games with me, that it slipped my mind to post that I'd be gone here as well. :/ Now that I look back, it would have been nice to have gotten some chatting going with the others, but they all seemed to be leaving one line replies. :(
Sorry for not having posted for a little while. Shall post tomorrow. I just got home and then needed to take my sister to the doctor and now I just want to sleep.
I'll be returning to normal posting, at least for the weekend. Depending on when my final exam will be, I may be able to post on Monday, as well. By the middle of next week, I'll be back, full-time, though, until the end of June.
Hm, I thought 'the People' generally referred to the elves (the 'Tel'Quessir')?
Shows what you know about halflings... ;) Now I can't find it, but when I was researching another halfling character for background, I saw that they call themselves the Hin, and that Hin in halfling means the people. Just because you're tall doesn't me you have exclusive rights on what you call yourselves.. ;)
I'm familiar with 'the Hin', but I didn't know that it meant 'the People'. I've certainly never heard anyone other than elves refer to themselves as such, either. :p
Besides, I prefer my halflings nomadic and riding dinosaurs, heh. ;-)
*giggles* Yes, halflings refer to themselves as Hin. (I play a LOT of halflings. :p) But I've never, ever seen them actually translate it and refer to themselves as "The People." I assume because the elves do that and everybody knows it. They have always, in my experience, actually used their translation for it, Hin. Hence why Eleniel is a little confused. :p
I'm sure I read it somewhere, but now I can't seem to find it anywhere... :/ And now that my computer died and I'm having to use my wife's... I don't have access to my "books" anymore... ;)
Hello all. I'm going away until the 26th and will not be posting befor that night local Norwegian time. I have changes my last post a little bit and hopefully we can resolve the house matter when I get back.
I'm having some serious computer trouble, and I'm not sure when I can resume a steady rate of posting again. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this, and I trust our DMs ability to NPC my character if he feels that becomes needed.
Okey. I understand that it's summer. Well atleast some places. If this posting rate is kept during the fall and winter I'm considering to pull the plug so to speak on this game. I have asked you what more you want out of the game and also mentioned earlyer that if there is anything you want me to change that it's just to give me a Pm and I'll consider it fairely and without any form of personal grudge felt afterwards, but instead with gratitude. I want to make this the best game that is on RoA, but then I need your help. I'm one of those DMs that write of there characters. If you are interested and involved in the game then I'll show the same dedication as you have. I only manage to make truely great posts when my players are involved in the game and are active. the game will meet it's fate in late september. Then I will have made the disission if I want to continue or not. If you don't want me as your DM then please tell me and I'll step down and try to get a new DM for you.
