Re: Silver Marches Adventure: The Absent-Minded Sage

When Galain reads the script, he translates for everyone. When he sees Taman turn backwards and walks backward, Galain snaps his fingers, Just what I was thinking Taman! Good job! Galain will turn his back and walk backwards down the stairs.

Silifrey giggles (literally) at the simple but brilliant nature of Taman's deduction, and follows upwards as well.

(As note that get RoA gifts asked before Saturday. So far only two of you have asked for them and I approved them.)

The group starts walk bakcwards and Raiden does that too when he detects no one is coming from behind him. After walking hazardly down the stairs carefully backwards they nearly stumble and hit on closed beautyfully crafted darkwooden mithril vine decorated double doors whit no lock on them but having beautyfull vine decorated handles.

Raiden does not detect any traps, and rather detects the door is unlocked.

Mindful of previous disasters, Raiden told everyone to step well away, then he carefully pushed the door open.

Re: Silver Marches Adventure: The Absent-Minded Sage

(OK)

Raiden pulls the door open.....and nothing happens. Not evne creek is heard and he peeks inside to see he that inside is beautyfull garden clearing whit living tree middle of it. The light is bringed in by golden glowing orb in the ceiliing whcih brings warm light into the room. Also ribbling sounds of fountain is heard in the garden but most of the garden has growed wild and so covered most stone tiles and benches and there are tall bush walls around the garden block line of sight to other sides of the garden. But somehow every party member feels safe in the garden, like there would be nothing evil lingering in there and even Silifrey can confirm that in here he sees no aura nor taint of evil like elsewhere on the tower.

Re: Silver Marches Adventure: The Absent-Minded Sage

Silifrey enters the garden, staring about in wonder.  "Trullly the elves of old wrought many marvels."

After some time, she does recoever her wits, however, and begins looking around the garden for anything fo interest or use.

Search: 8

Never the most observant warrior, she finds nothing.  "Well... should we go?"

Raiden let out a long held breath as the door opened without disaster.

He kicked around the garden a bit. "Eh, plants. Where's the treasure?" At Silifrey's suggestion he made ready to leave. "Yeah, let's."

Galain walks into the garden a feeling of peace settling into him. The elves of old truly did create marvels he thought to himself, he sits on one of the benches closes his eyes and takes a deep breath feeling relaxed for the first time since they re-entered the structure.

Re: Silver Marches Adventure: The Absent-Minded Sage

Something approaching a smile comes to Taman's grim face as he steps into the garden area. He regards it with appreciation, but also with the eye of one who is at home with plants and trees, trying to determine if there is anything unusual about the plants themselves. Know Nature 16

After Galain sits, he sits as well, taking a spot on the floor, cross-legged. "This would be a good place to rest when next we need to," he comments.

Taman rose and followed Raiden after seeing what the fool had done.  He walked up close to him, glowering. "You should not do that again," he growled. "It will bring even more bad fortune on us."

(What door? The one what you comed in? Note that you have not studied whole garden. Only the central part and there are pathways between the bush walls. It is like garden labyrinth shortly said. There are three pathways besides the one whcih trough you walked into centre where fountain is.)

Taman turned away from Raiden as he realized that there were other paths to explore here. "Why don't we follow the paths?" he suggested. "We could start with this one."

He pointed to the leftmost path (or its equivalent) and moved to follow it, scanning carefully and keeping his ears open.

Galain shoots Raqiden a dirty look for his flower kicking and then follows taman to the left path. He tries to stay somewhere between or beside one of the two fighter types.
