Somewhere, Out  there...

 The Ancient Golden Dragon Queen spoke softly to her one remaining child in sorrow as she has to send him out into the harsh world to find his destiny. Her great golden eyes, dim with memories of the centuries of waring with men. One great tear falls to tinkle upon the ground at Abraxus feet as she tells him of his wyrd.

 "You must find the other dragon-childe, for her destiny and your's are entwined
as threads upon a skein. Take this tear. With it you can call me in your greatest need, and I will answer. Beware the Men of this world, for they in their pride would rule the world, and know not what harm they bring to all with their killing ways. Let none know what you are, and use sparingly your Dragon Powers. Arm yourself in their own guise and learn their ways. Mayhaps you will find a few Goode Men."

 The storm lashed boat rocked and spun, it's sails torn it's masts sundered...one last form clung amidst the wreckage. The youth looked desperately about as the ship raised upon the rising swell of a huge wave. In complete dispair, his eyes caught and clung to the sight the rising wave showed to him, a spar of land rising from the sea, a rocky spear of a bit of land, once before him, now sinking below him as the boat rose upon the giant storm driven wave, the wave that raised the ship like a giant fist and hurled it toward the stone spire that rose from the spur of land, and impaled the ship on it's downward fall.
