Welcome to Fading Suns: Siege at Stigmata. If you are familiar with the Fading Suns system, that's excellent. If you're new to FS, I encourage you to get ahold of the 2nd ed sourcebook and discover the compelling universe the rest of us have. It's available online and there are several helpful resources on the net which you can easily google. Here's a good site to give you a sense of the general flavor of Fading Suns:

The "Alustro's Journal" entries in particular should get you into the feel of the game. If you're unable to get your hands on the sourcebook for whatever reason, message me privately and I'll see what we can do.

Now, the basics:

1. Although we will be using the Fading Suns source material, we will be using my own house rules, which I'll explain later.

2. While any FS supplements are handy (particularly the Player's Companion), we will be sticking primarily to the 2nd ed corebook. I will not expect or require anyone to be knowledgeable of any other sourcebooks.

3. The actual timeframe in which the game takes place is during the latter years or the Emperor Wars, prior to Alexius' ascent to the throne. Refer to the Game Info for details on the setting.
