The infiltrator "Your default selection if I could, I take it you have one, I enjoy socializing elsewhere"

He pauses and asks "Mind if I stay up? PArt of being an infiltrator, is learning 2 things in particular.

How to PRetend to be someone of almost any race, or region, and how to gather information. I can probaly get the pulse of things, and learn if theirs anything else we dont know by a few discreet inquirys if you think its a good idea?

Arminna nods to their infiltrator.  "As you wish," she answered him.  "As for me, I think I'll check out the room.  What about you, Meeka?"

Meeka nods.  "I'll join you.  This place seems safe enough, but it's still not a wise thing for you to be about on your own."  Apparently, Meeka has assigned herself the role of Arminna's body guard.

Arminna speaks to the server, "Take us to our room, please."

THe beds large enough to hold 2 people easily, in most inns , their would be at LEAST two beds in a room this size

its stuffed with feathers, ,

Theirs a pot of fresh flowers.

A marble bathtub currently empty... though your sure they'll fill it on request.

everythings subdued, to  to barely visible starlight.

"Yes, this will do very nicely, thank you," Arminna says to the server.  When she spots the tub, she adds "May we have the tub filled?  A bath would feel very nice."

"Hot water..."  Meeka specifies.  It was just an errant thought, but with the varied clientele, who knows what to expect?

nods "Right away... do you want anything to add, we have any number of salts and oils to offer."

Within minutes they've filled the tub with steaming hot water.

"I think a gentle soap will do for now, thank you," Arminna replies.

He nods and brings you some Lighly scented soap.

"Excellent," Arminna comments as she checks out the soap.  "Now if you can bring some lightly spiced wine, drow if you have it, and some mild cheese, I think I will be good for a while.  Meeka, how about you?" she asks her friend.

He pauses "I can send a runner to check the market, but that will cost a surcharge?" He offers

"We do have some elven wine though"

"and cheese, is of course no problem"

Meeka shrugs, "Perhaps some fruits as well....?"

Arminna thought about that.  While some drow wine would taste good, she didn't think it wise to attract too much attention.  "The elven wine should do fine, then," she replied.

They nod and come back with a mmixture of cherrys apples, and blood oranges, all ver ytasty.

As well as spiced elven wine, a very good vintage.

Arminna thanked the server and gave him a tip.  After he left, she turned to Meeka.  "Do you want first shot at the bath?" she asked.

Meeka shakes her head.  "I'd like to spend a bit more time getting the lay of the land.  I guess any would have the same reaction, but this place is just too much not like what I'm used to for me to feel comfortable."

A veritable speech for the laconic Meeka.

"Very well, then," Arminna replies.  "Perhaps things will change when we start out again tomorrow," she added as she went behind the changing screen to remove her gear and clothes.

a few hours latter the infiltrator returns more then a bit intoxicated... and almost stumbling... "Hello" he says a bit dizzily

"I might have drank a bit much... but I learned a few things..." he says..

"Where several portals are in particular if that interests you? Including one to the plane of Air and one to the beastlands" He says groggily...

"Take it your not interested in the portal to Caerceri, or the 597th laird of the abyss?

Arminna looks up from the chair she was relaxing in after her bath.  "Perhaps we should discuss this in the morning, she says, "it looks like you could use some sleep."

He nods "I'll take a chair" and doe sso and closes his eyes slightly before entering Reverie

Arminna nods in reply and relaxes back into her chair, biting into an orange and sipping some wine.

Well presuming you all go to sleep?

Your able to wake up early enough next day.... and find all is right with the world.
