"We take him back with us to the temple," Arminna decides.  "We can't go back to the village; they would tear him apart before too long."  She then instructs the infiltrator to go to the village and move the soldiers to a rendezvous point.

Re: the tunnels tremble with anticipation.

she nods in agreement "And as for the Simpathetic themselves, Either someone deliberate planted it,  or it traveled here in a flock, they only migrate the planes in flocks... They may feed on virtue, but by themselves, they dont scheme to suborn or destroy it, only to absorb it.

The thought of  flock loose in these caverns... I shudder at the thought of what horrors they could bring about, do you think the Dwarves could be no more evil then they are?" she asks quizically

"I reccomend we slaughter the lot of them I know it may sound harsh, but when it had this youth ravaging a maiden, do we want to see children murdering their parents, the dwarves, turning to worship of abysall lords?"

"I presume you are talking about slaughtering the Simpathetics," Arminna replies.  "As for the Dwarves, we do what we must in order to defend ourselves."

"As do we all," Arminna says to her.  "It would be best to resolve this matter as quickly as possible; to that end, we should proceed to the temple with all due haste."

"I feel for these souls as they often lost loved ones to the Dwarves, but we need peace" She says unwaveringly

"We do indeed," Arminna says in response.  "I have a Dwarven friend in Waterdeep, Rakan Stormspire.  Perhaps when I go there next, you can come also, if you'd like to meet a good Dwarf."

Arminna nods in return.  "Getting him to the temple is our first step," she says.  "But I fear that Atonement may not be useful at this point, for the spell requires the recipient to be sorry for their deed.  And you heard he is not at that point yet."

nods "Fair enough my lady, another issue?" She sighs

"One of the Songs, that I as a bard keep very close to my heart, is this, once many millenia ago, it was discussed, the Drow of Svartheim having a King, Eilistraee herself entertainted the notion then, today" Sighs

"Back then several stepped up, but none could hold the ESteem of the people long enough for a coronation to be arranged, According to the priestesses, Eilistraee has not outright FORBIDDEN it, but has ceased and desisted from answering Divinations on the issue"

she sighs

"Why do I bring this up? Because I Think the current conflict could yield the hero Svartheim needs to fill its as of yet hypothetical throne.

pauses "Just make sure you impress on t hem not to let down their guards... the Simpathics have made him devious, self centered and ... I suspect he was allready cunning, but he puts it to much more effective use now, as a madman then he did as an honest farmboy"

One of the Soldiers "Will you give us a statement in writing my lady, that this boy is to be examined for supernatural coercian in his actions, not handed back to the village? It will be more difficult without you there"

She is in agreement with him

"I  know it will be difficult, but the Simpathics need both to be acted on speedily, and precisely, you must decide if going back to the city to seek aid, is worth a delay"

she says

"They could give us help that would be invaluable... but going there could delay us... While I dont like advising rash action, I dislike the thought that somewhere in these tunnels, Another Tragedy like this is happening, more then even I a bard, could ever put into words"

Arminna tells the soldier, "I can provide written orders, if they are needed,"

She then turns to the bard.  "We must choose the best course of action, and quickly," she says.  "I shall seek the Dark Maiden's guidance by casting a Commune spell."

(what question does she ask first Remember  its Yes/No and she cant stop to discuss answers.

Hmmmn condensing it a little

"Is the Simpathetic the greater threat? Yes

Should we deal with it at once. Call for help make sure that you have aid, avoid it touching anyone at all costs, lest it suck their virtue out, it will be a few more months before they breed.

OOC:
I had some questions ready; I just forgot to cut-and-paste them.  (d'oh!)

First questions Arminna will ask are:
Should we return to the town?
Should we take action against the Simpathics immediately?
How many soldiers should be assigned to each task?

(

Yes you should Return to the Town

It will take a few weeks for the Simpathetics to begin breeding... in town you might be able to convince them of the urgency of this issue, and of this boys lack of genuine culpability on this issue.

The last question isnt Yes or no)

More questions:
Should the boy be taken directly to the temple?

If so, Arminna will assign three soldiers to the task and provide them with written authorization.  She then turns to Jhaelnya and says, "It would be best if you spoke to the townspeople about the simpathetics; as a bard, your speaking skills will motivate them better than mine."
