29th Eleasias (Highsun) 1370 - Year of the Takard
The rest of the night is undisturbed, and just before dawn, the party are awake, rested and ready to go.  The three band members have come to, and struggle in their bonds.

Yv awakens in his little fort, hoping the others have seen the error of their ways and decided to run rather than fight. Knowing that isn't really going to happen, Yv sits with Volo discussing some new vampire jokes for any future tavern outings, and Dolo butts in every now and again.

Packing the puppet away in his pack, Yv waits patiently for the others to sort themselves out and to allow everyone the chance to see this is a fools errand.

 Milo checked on the vampire first thing when he awoke, and was satisfied to find only a small pile of dust. He did his morning ablutions and went outside to pray to the sun.  (spell list updated)

 Afterwards he had some breakfast and suggested they gathered and departed as soon as possible. There was no need to give their enemy any more time to prepare.

Before bed Merrell looks over the spells that Blondung has in his spellbook. He chooses two spells, Glitterdust and Resiliant Sphere and studies each for an hour before trying to copy them into his own spellbook.
After successfully copying the spells the wizard gets his rest and tries not to dwell too much on the horror that will be tomorrow.

After waking he gets to work memorizing spells (spell list updated) and eating breakfast. Afterword Merrell has a quick shave using a sharp knife and a mirror he keeps in his Haversack. No sense in dying with an unkempt beard. He also uses one of his first learned spells, Prestidigitation, to clean his cloths and traveling gear.

"What are we doing about supplies? Holy water, garlic, stakes?" He says to the party at large.
"And what additional information can you give us about this place, Elwin? Do you know the layout of the castle? A secret way to enter after we get to the top of our climb?"


We should all coordinate spells, also.

"Well, I can cause confusion amongst any normal servants, and when we are up there I can probably find where Santanico is through my Location spell. Other than that, I intend to stay ready to make everyone invisible so we can do the right think and run away!" Yv smiles at the last comment, aware they won't listen, and that he will at least be keeping his own options open when it came to a suitable escape route.

"Holy water is down to Milo, but stakes are easy enough. We have enough table and chair legs to give to Luc to sharpen while we wait. I'm going to reply on not being found, and pointing you in the right direction. Dorn will need to be looking for secret doors in the stonework alot, as I doubt they will make things easy for us."
