07:54, Today: Kelsey Sarah Champlain rolled 2 using 4d20, keeping the lowest dice only with rolls of 20,2,16,10. Shot 2 of 2.
07:54, Today: Kelsey Sarah Champlain rolled 8 using 4d20, keeping the lowest dice only with rolls of 15,17,9,8. 2 shots on init target 8 1 of 2.

Kelsey will put one to two more in the hostage holder, will switch target to the next lucky customer if he seems out.
I am assuming she is firing from a prone position
I have enough init left to switch targets to a more immediate threat
I would really like the second shot to be on another person.

In reply to Kelsey Sarah Champlain (msg # 124):

My apologies for not being quite as clear as I should have been!

Both targets were hit in the head (aimed shots). They're down, likely dead. The hostages also dropped down, but in order to get out of the line of fire.

There are the 2 new guys coming out the culvert, and 2 guys struggling up the embankment with the sniper, captured gear and weapons.

Re: Player/GM Die Rolls

In reply to Kelsey Sarah Champlain (msg # 126):

There are actually three groups in order of relative threat level:

1) Support weapons on top of the southern embankemnt. I would say these are the highest threat.

2) The two guys coming out of the culvert. They don't know where you are, but they have weapons in their hands and can Tyler and Koldan.

3) The two guys struggling to climb up the south bank.

Which of the threats are visible to Kel and Abbot?

I thought that the SAW gunner and grenadier has made it up the bank and moved out of sight.

In reply to Stanley Alistair Abbot (msg # 128):

No. They set up a base of fire to cover the others. Post #455, at the end. They never moved.

Kel/Abbot: please better specify your targets, per my groups above. Both hostage takers are down. There are 2 guys to the left, coming out of the culvert. 2 guys to the right, going up the embankment, and 2 guys on top of the embankment who are likely going to open up on you (assuming they see you, not a given due to the smoke screen that was just laid).

In reply to Kelsey Sarah Champlain (msg # 130):

Groovy, I just wanted you to understand there are still serious threats out there. My guess is Abbot is gonna work out on the new guys emerging from the culvert, but he's slowed down (see earlier comments on chambering, etc.). On the the upside, those new guys definitely haven't seen you yet.

Re: Player/GM Die Rolls

Hi team,

No, you don't have to roll for anything. That was part of the misdirection. Any posts in the April Fool's thread are for fun. Go ahead, shoot someone or something. Just aim for the head.

And don't say the "Zed-word".

Re: Player/GM Die Rolls

OK, I rolled a 1 which is good in the situation.

I'll put my post here. If it's OK, I'll paste it to the thread but 1 might still be a fail so I won't presume success.

Andy lined teh little jeep up so it was facing directly down the slope and then engaged teh four wheel drive and ensured that the free-wheel hubs were engaged. He locked up all the differentials and then selected the low-gear second as it was the best to use of potentially muddy slopes. He made sure his feet were off the pedals to ensure he didn't go instictively messing with the clutch and then let the handbrake go.
As teh Iltis inched down the slope he monitored its progress, gently applying a touch of the brakes if it wenttoo fast and using his steering and a tiny bit of acceleration if he felt the tires lose traction and if any sliding started he steered into the direction of teh slide to keep teh vehicle straight. He was careful to use short taps of the brakes if he needed them at all to avoid cadence locking if it was extremely slippery he would keep brake use to a minimum.

Slowly the vehicle crawled down the slope.

If we're doing it we might as well check everything. I'd assume we'll need more rolls than just one though if the area is that big and complex.
