No problems, I just hadn't had a need before now to clarify that in most communities you will not really need to watch your backs.

Re: OOC4

Today I helped a mature native lady, a government employee, to load the official van with training material for RCMP Officers in the interior. She was very grateful and gave me a big hug.

The timing couldn't be more perfect for this thread, eh!

In reply to Taras Vladimirovich Shevchenko (msg # 475):

Again, tough to make generalisations, but First Nations peoples tend to get along well with the Federal Government. The people natives have the most problems with are the provinces, with whom many bands are engaged in endless treaty negotiations. Not to mention local communities, who can sometimes show prejudice and/or compete with First Nations peoples for resources that the latter may believe to be rightfully theirs.

In reply to Taras Vladimirovich Shevchenko (msg # 477):

The military personnel of course have military ID.

Taras would also have newly-issued official RCMP picture ID and a badge (metal shield in a leather wallet) with his number engraved on it. I am not sure if Taras is in uniform or not.

As a note, I will post to move the game along tomorrow or a little later. Currently, I am waiting to board a flight to Trinidad. Once I get settled in wifi won't be a problem!

In true Canadian fashion, I'm going down to 'Murica for the weekend. Some friends' vacation property, probably no Internet. Gia is at the Canada Day celebrations with her grandparents, we will be picking her up and then fighting our way past the border.

Re: OOC4

Hello folks. I hope everybody agrees with the strategy. I'm sorry if this will railroad any player into an unwanted position but I'm trying to be flexible. Is just another ambush type based on a strong OP and mobile element. For that matter all the skill that you can bring to the battle, regardless of the initial position, is most welcome. Thank you and...

Happy hunting!

Taras, it's the nature of the military that you don't always pull the duty that you want! I have no complaints...

Re: OOC4

Very true. Unlike real life, I don't mind to OOC'd the issue to accommodate the fellow players, though. Is more fun that way!
