We'll say the last round is loaded, therefore no ammo case is needed.

Re: OOC4

No worries, Tony. I had plenty to keep me busy this weekend. My son just had a birthday and we went to the zoo. Good times.

Hey, sometimes I need a prod!

Speaking of prod, I'm waiting on Kel.

Looking at Taras' action, if he takes that last shot at the V-100 using HESH he's likely to injure Andrews and/or Tremblay, as they were relatively close when he fired. So I think it would be appropriate to retract that action, considering he should know they're there (as they passed in front).

No. There is a screen of trees and bushes. But they can guess where they are because they are close, just off to the right and below them at the culvert entrance.

Sorry to hear about your GF's grandpa.  Cancer is a bastard for sure.

Don't worry about the game.  Stay strong for her and help her take care of family and the rest will fall into place as necessary. Best of luck.

Re: OOC4

How much of what's going on is in clear view for Kel and Abbot?  Is the tunnel an actual man-mane tunnel or just a wide path through the trees.

Re: OOC4

In reply to Stanley Alistair Abbot (msg # 86):

The "tunnel" is a culvert. It's a concrete tube about 6 feet high where a stream passes under a road. It's set in a wooded embankment. The stream itself is about 1m across and 30-60cm deep. The streambed is in a shallow gully, there are mud banks you can scramble up.

The view is mostly clear, for you.

Thanks.   I've put up a couple of back posts that don't really do anything , but it's better than silence.

Re: OOC4

In reply to Stanley Alistair Abbot (msg # 88):

I have to say I am confused.

I thought Kelsey was at the shot sniper's position, and her action was to check for the spotter and make sure we weren't dealing with a "North American Marsupial"

Slightly agitated that those guys stripped her kill.  THEIR kill.

Also... how did they close so fast they heard her talking softly???

What the hell?  If she is using the correct earpiece, they shouldn't be able to hear her radio, and the transmit should not be able to be monitored easily as well.

So what goes?

Re: OOC4

In reply to Kelsey Sarah Champlain (msg # 89):

1) My apologies, it was my mistake on the sniper's position and yours. I missed that she was moving up, but they might well have seen her as she would have had to move across the front of the culvert, and that could allow them to possibly take her out. Abbot may have tried to cover that bound, but he can't shoot what he can't see (someone shooting out of the culvert).

2) Rather than retconning to correct this (and we would would need to allow for Kel getting ganked as she makes her bound) I prefer to leave things as-is. If you want to have a re-do, then you'll have to take your chances. Good luck!

3) Regarding how they are listening in on your comms, I've tried to make it clear they captured Kodan and Tyler's gear. They weren't talking to you via carrier pigeon, eh?

TOny.  I thought that the mercs were shouting at us.   I didn't realize they were transmitting their hostage threat via radio.  In that case, Abbot does not transmit his last statement.

Would anyone happen to have any pics of the interior of the turret on the V-150, specifically the MG set up ? Thanks.

Re: OOC4

In reply to Thomas Matthew Andrews (msg # 96):

Dang, I can't find my pictures, and the internet is of little help.

The 1-man turret is very small and has a basket with seat.

Ammo is on the basket and belts are run up to the twin guns through those 2 tubes. To look out the hatch, you stand on the seat. The gunner is offset to the left as the twin MGs extend into the turret on his/her right. While sitting, you can look out the several vision blocks set all around into the turret sides.

While facing front there is a larger armoured glass viewport on the left, twin MGs (Browning M1919s chambered in 7.62mm NATO) on the right. There is a gunsight periscope on the left side of the roof. The guns roatate along with the unpowered turret using a red wheel under the periscope and viewport on the left. up-down is under the guns. Firing is by pressing a solenoid switch.

There are 2 belts plus 2 spare ammo boxes in the brackets on the basket floor.
