A while back, ether he or Hawke suggested using the tank to haul the Humvee out.

I believe that was Hawke.  The tank could be used later to clear the burned cars from the road.

Re: OOC4

Hello folks. For a moment I thought that Tony was about tom wrap the game and didn't post much accordingly. If we are staying for a while I would like to handle things differently.

The recovery of the humvee is not a priority. I'd rather concentrate in getting everybody at the market corner, circle the wagons and wait for the relief. Once they get where we are we can dispatch the wounded and prisoners. The idea is to create a escort unit and the rest stay in site for recovery, etc.

If you agree is just a matter of moving everything to the corner and then wait. Once our relief column arrives we can proceed with the evacuation and then recovery, etc.

Ok, thanks. I guess it makes more "tactical" sense at this point. I'll post something accordingly!

Re: OOC4

I edited my last post.

To streamline things a bit we are going to regroup by the market. Players get to choose their ride. Basically the V-100 and the captured humvee. The Iltis is also available and could take one of the wounded, for instance.

Once we get there I'll have Taras issue orders to form a perimeter, secure the area and radio again. Probably we can dispatch the NPC with the relief column and the rest continue in the area of operations conducting a proper recovery of the vehicle. After that, we could probably move back to Fort Langley and...have a few beers?

Ha ha, good call!

Something to keep in mind, although you do have casualties to deal with and a reaction force on the way.

As I recall, you had recovered information on elephant medical care and the pre-war address of the veterinarian (which is in Langley).

Did that sniper rifle have a night vision scope that we recovered, or a spotter scope?

The Barrett had the standard issue x10 telescopic sight.

The guy with the M21 had a spotter scope.

Ok, seems I am confused, someone is confused.

Kel wants to switch to their backup frequency, and either recover or disable the paired set on the HMMWV.  She wants non digital comms off the net, too much signal intelligence going on for her to risk it.

No problem. You captured 2x SINGCARs radios. How many digital sets did you start off with? You have plenty of hand-held radios, and they still do work, but some are encrypted and some are not.
