I get the feeling we might be radically outclassed in this game.

By the TOU, any player and any player character in a mature or adult game must be at least 18 years of age. Also by the TOU as a player in an adult/mature game I now have a responcibility to monitor said games content and report infractions to the Admins. I am saying this here to give you a chance to clear this up.

As long as the child is not involved in any sexual activity, it is ok. And I am way over age real life. And I am posting over there on the other site game wise. Real life, I am twice over old enough.

I think you might be mistaken.

A mature game allows any age, under the understanding that some material may be present which is a more mature nature.

I'm not trying to mess with your head. The adult/mature rules have been updated. The requirement is that all players and their characters be at least 18 years of age in an adult or mature game. At least thats how I read it.

Exactly, this game isn't Adult, it's mature.

Also, I have an adult game, and have 1 minor character there, but she is never in any thread where sex or questionable activities happen, and I have asked the Mods way before having her there about her being there. She is in public threads, and not in any thread but public threads that do not contain any sexual situations. Not that my game is based upon sex, it just deals with slavery, in a D&D type game.

Because there is no Restricted Content (as defined by our Policies) permitted in a Mature game, there is no need for a minimum age.  The GM of a game is, of course, allowed to set a minimum age for their game and enforce it as they like.  If, however, the content of the game is such that children should not be exposed to it, the game must be rated Adult, without exception.

Therefor, if a player can be of any age, a PC can to.

I think he might be getting confused about Adult games, which have a requirement that both PC's and players be over 18. This is just a Mature game.

Mature games are games which have (as some minor portion of them) mature themes, strong language, drug use, and/or extensive violence.  Mature games use the Mature Content flag to warn potential readers that some of the game material may be considered offensive.  Despite this flag, Mature Games must remain suitable to all ages.

Adult games are games which have as part of their content graphic sex or graphic and gratuitous violence.  Though their story and plot may be very strong and elaborate, they detail sex and/or gore in a way to which children and teens should not be exposed.  Adult games are restricted in access to subscribers1 who are (1) of the age of majority and (2) have specifically requested access to Adult games.  In no case are Adult materials permitted in any public area of RPoL: GMs of Adult games must take care that only those users who are members of their game can view the Adult materials contained therein.

NOT allowed in any form:
sexual acts involving children under the age of 18, or
the sexual exploitation of minors.
