@Jamat are you willing to play the world in a different system or do you prefer the Dragon Age System?

Dragon age

I have several systems.
X-Pathfinder
X-Savage worlds
X-Dnd 1-3.X
XPalladium

I can always tailor stuff to my players, though I would need to know what system they are interested in. So if you have an preference. I have the main book for Dragon Age, and I adore the world and lore. I just don't know the system as well as I would like.

Dragon age

I have played all the video games, but I am willing to give the AGE books a go if your okay with a new to this system GM, I offered the others since I haven't had a chance to run the Dragon Age one, I am willing to use it though and learn as I go, if your good with that too! My room-mate and I got the books as a bundle, and so I have been reading through it in spare time, I am not new to GMing, just this system!

Re: Dragon age

Well it's that time again have been in a number of dragon age games on rpol but they all seem to fall apart very quickly :(

So I'm looking for a GM who likes dragon age enough to want to run a game for at least one adventure maybe more if they enjoy it enough.

I really like the simplicity of the rules and that the dice system is so simple I can post while traveling to and from work without having to refer to the rules too much.

So is there a dragon age GM willing to set up a game I'm not too worried about period it can be set in or posting rates ....a relaxed fun game with entertaining adventure arcs and character interaction would be great

Re: Dragon age

Jamat, I don't want to get your hopes up, but I'm trying to figure out what type of campaign to run, and whether I actually have the time to pull it off.

Re: Dragon age

Okay, I have a few ideas for a campaign. Still not sure if I'm going to be able to have the time to pull this off, but, please, let me know if one or more of these interest you:

High Adventure in Ferelden!
9:20 Dragon - Redcliffe

The PCs are young adventurers who grew up with the epic tales of Maric and Loghain’s exploits during the Ferelden Rebellion.

*~*~*~*~*

Picking Up the Pieces
9:32 Dragon - Southern Ferelden

The PCs are young survivors of the Fifth Blight. They are some of the many who couldn’t escape to the Free Marches and had to flee ahead of the approaching horde for weeks and months, separated from loved ones.

Returning to their southern village, they find it in ruins, ravaged by blight. Gathering what supplies they can, they seek a life elsewhere. Redcliffe? Crestwood? Denerim? Is there any village, town, or city that wasn’t hard hit by the Blight?

(Notes: Alistair is king and Arundell Cousland of Highever (the Hero of Ferelden) is his bride.)

*~*~*~*~*

La Petite Guerre
9:45 Dragon - Val Royeaux

A group of young nobles and their entourages attempt to navigate the suddenly changed Great Game in the Orlesian capital. With Celene and Gaspard reconciled, and the elf (!) spymaster Briala given title over the Dales, the Great Game suddenly takes on a new dynamic that even the most experienced players are struggling to master.

(Notes: The Inquisition is a peacekeeping force under Divine Victoria (the softened former Sister Nightingale). Inquisitor Trevelyan & his wife, Cassandra, splits his time between Val Royeaux, the Hunterhorn, and his estate Kirkwall.

The “upstart” College of Enchanters is not entirely welcome in Val Royeaux, as Madame de Fer and her new Circle of Magi dominate Orlesian court.)

Re: Dragon age

My Focus is on playing AGE, am (currently) not at all familiar with the Setting, so I am okay with any of the above, though - unfortunately maybe ? - the 2nd appeals the most too me.
3rd seems to demand the most from GM...

Re: Dragon age

Let's go with option 1; I've created the game.

Before I post a recruitment in Wanted - Players, jamat and Denalor, are both of you in? jamat, who is the other player who is interested?

Denalor, would you be able to familiarize yourself with the the world of Thedas (Dragon Age has a pretty good wiki) before we start play?
