I just finished running "What Follows in Shadow" for some players, and now am itching to play the Wheel of Time RPG myself. Are there any GMs who'd be interested in running a game? I'd prefer to start out low level (1st-3rd) and progress from there. I'd really like a game set in a time other than the novels, but if we run parallel to the books it'd be okay as well, so long as we have fun & interesting things to do. An Adult rating would be fine with me as 1. I am one and 2. It might be fun to allow for adult situations to arise, but is less important than finding people who want to tell a good story together.

Well, there have been many Wheel of Time games on RPoL over the years, but few have lasted very long.

Perhaps players never get the game that they want. Or they get bored easily and wander away.

I'll play, but good luck with a game.

Bumping again, as I'm holding out hope that a proper GM might want to play in Robert Jordan's world, either paralleling the novels or doing our own thing.

I'm tempted. I haven't played or DM'd on here in a few years, and no WOT since a few years beyond that either. But I love the setting and know the system inside out, and it's one of my favourite worlds (along with ShadowRun) so it's very tempting.

Let me look at how much free time I've got coming up, and if I've got some ideas to run something interesting. I suppose I might be able to do the Prophecies of the Dragon series of adventures if you've not played through that, but I do prefer running my own adventures usually.

Leave it with me for a day or two and I'll see if I can get things rolling.

Okay I have set up a game for this - D20 3.5 version of WOT-RPG, set just before the events of the first book, with an alternate timeline from there on out but with the same familiar faces and places.

Yes indeed. Although if you have another system in mind I'm willing to consider. As a reminder I'm only through the first 3 books in the series, so I'm looking a game with no major spoilers, taking place earlier/after the books, a Mirror World that may or may not cross over at some point, etc.
