Hello everyone, we are a group of 5 players seeking a new GM for a party made of psionic characters. Gestalt is always nice, but we can always play normal games.

Hmm.  I'm possibly game - I've been meaning to host a 3.5 game to try and bloodily murder challenge a group of helpless fools players.  I'm not adverse to gestalt and I'm a fan of psionics - much better balanced than the magic system, at any rate, since you generally have to try to break psionics in half.

What was already planned out for the campaign?

Right now we were investigating the dissapearance of a group of orphans. We were 1st level characters.

Too little detail there to take over the plot, so I'd start a new game and welcome the same characters, with a few tweaks.  I am much more permissive on sources, for example.

Is very low level important?  I find 6-8 to be the sweet spot for being able to throw carried challenges at the players, especially in a game with psionics (mostly) replacing magic.

Something like, investigating a House Cannith facility in the Mournlands, where magic is unreliable beyond very simple spells but non-spells work fine (psionics, binding, incarnum, etc.) should keep broadly similar flavor.

I have 0 problems with that, but then again, I am just one player. If you make a game, I think we can discuss the details there.
